Do you filter your drinking water or buy bottled water? I know it may be a waste of money but I just feel better drinking bottled water.
-
I drink bottled water because my husband buys it. I would not waste money buying bottled water. Most of the time, If I drink a bottle of store bought water, I will refill it with tap water. Once it is cold, you can't tell the difference.
-
I must say. I am stuck on bottle water. Just drinking the tap water,to me is not the same taste. Although i do drink tap water if im out of bottle water.
-
ocassionally during the summer most of the time
-
I drink bottled water because it's what we have at work. I use bottled water at home too but sometimes when I am making tea I use tap water. We just bought a water pitcher with a filter so we won't be using that many bottles any more.
-
Ha Ha... Bottled water goes through the same filtration process as the water from your sink. There is no difference other than wasting oil to make thousands of plastic bottles that are inevitably thrown on the side of the road. If you are going to pick something get a filter for your tap water and save the energy used to make the bottled water. Refill your bottles in you sink. Unless you live in a third world country this is an option for you. Personally, I just drink tap water.

I refill my bottled water from the tap. Put in the fridge, and drink it up. don't even notice any different
tasTe! ;D

It might go through the same process but the taste is very different. That tap water tastes so nasty. Yuck. I'm faithful to my bottled spring water. Trust me if you tasted the spring water I buy and then the tap water at my house, you'd definitely taste the difference. I literally spit out my tap water. Disgusting. There must be something wrong with the water treatment plant in my town because that water is nasty. I can't stand the taste of it. Thank God it doesn't come out with a weird color or odor. I would think twice about using it to wash my dishes.
-
I think bottled water tastes nasty.
-
I refill my water from the tap since it's free
-
Refuse to pay for water twice! ;D
-
I use it for the convience. I too think it is all the same.
-
I used to drink tap water but switched over to bottled water. I just don't trust tap water anymore.
-
I drink bottled water because my water has a very bad taste. I don't think my area filters it's water very thoroughly. I would not attempt to drink the water in my area unless it is boiled first.
-
Yes I like Dasani.
-
I prefer bottled water over tap water. I do not like the taste of tap water it's just too nasty. I can drink bottled water all day because it is just that good and has that good taste which is better.
-
I personally dont buy bottled water but my dad does when we go hunting.. Other than that no, I drink tap water.. lol.

Same here. We have this pink residue in our water, mind you we havev reported it many times and are assured it is nothing! Whatever! >:(
-
There are places where you can send a small sample of your tap water and have it tested. If there is any question about my water I would have it tested. This is what we put in our bodies the most. :)
-
No, this is an entire waste, first you waste your money on the water, because the plastic alone adds more chemicals to your body that has been sitting around, and on top of that the bottle takes years to deteriorate so you are hurting the earth as well, as if you would just go to the tap and get a healthy drink of water that has been treated and you know it has because they have to make sure it is good, whereas bottled water you never know what you can get.
-
Some of you may find the 'tap water test' video on YouTube interesting.
-
every day
-
I drink bottled water, our tap taste horrible. I do not like just any type of bottled water though; ozarka, and sams are good.
-
I have well water and nothing can beat that. I do prefer bottled water if away from home, however I am concerned about the chemicals they say are in the plastic.
-
I drink tap water. My family and I used to drink only from bottled water, but that was really expensive. We've all gotten used to tap water now.
-
yes I drink bottled water, bottled water is the only kind of water I try to ever drink anymore!
-
Yes I drink it.... I'm now considering getting the filter system as this may be more effective *<*
-
I use to have well water and it did taste great. Who knows what is in any water tap or bottled.
-
Both. I usually boil the filtered water before drinking it. The same goes for bottled water.

-
I'd drink tap water, since Hawaii is one of those states with decent water quality. Bottled water seems to be a waste of money.
-
I just like my water 'cold' but don't really loke ice water so I will buy bottled water and then re-fill the bottles and refridgerate.
-
We buy bottled water because my husband's doctor told him our well water "may" be a contributing factor to his bouts with kidney stones.
-
I actually can't stand water in general as strange as that sounds.
-
You are getting more chemicals in bottled water, then if you would drink tap plus you are paying more and hurting the environment, doesn't make too much sense to me, but of course they don't want you to figure that out then they couldn't make that money.
-
Sometimes I think bottled water so I can save a lot. Filtered water is okay.
-
Yes, and take it on the go to stay hydrated. We've used filter water in the past and plan to do that again. I think in the long run that will save us money at home.
-
We have a Reverse Osmosis water filtration system at home. I refill water bottles from it.
If I am out at a restaurant, I ask for a slice of lemon for my water because tap water tastes different than my filtered
water. The lemon helps tremendously.

Growing up I always drank tap water and didn't notice a difference between it and bottled water. After I moved to start college, I switched to bottled water because the taste was so much worse here. I finally broke down and bought a Brita filter pitcher and it has saved me tons of money without sacrificing for the bad tasting water. I mailed in a rebate, so it did not even cost that much to buy the pitcher. Sure you have to buy more filters every now and then, but I am stll saving tons of money compared to buying bottles. When I go home to visit my parents I drink the tap water. I guess because I grew up drinking it the taste doesn't bother me.

Neither. These products are one of the biggest scams. They are robbing you people blind. Tap water is perfectly safe and tastes fine virtually everywhere in the United States. The only time I get bottled water is when I travel, and that's mainly because of convenience.
-
Reverse Osmossis water filtration system!
Multiple studies have came out in recent months about the problems that over flourinated water can do to the body. Plus I hate the taste of over cholorinated water.
I keep my nalgene with me all the time and if I buy water it's only if the bottle says it's natural spring water from a spring I can look up on the internet. Deer Park, Fuji are the usuals that I buy since I can pinpoint what spring the water comes from.
-
I have a hard time bringing myself to buy water when I can just buy a brita pitcher or filter. Waste of money
-
I drink allot of the Propel flavored waters. I love the grape and lemon!!!
-
I have a Culligan filtration service for my home water. When I was still in an apartment, I used a Britta pitcher to filter the water vs buying bottled.
I usually only buy bottled water when I'm traveling and don't pre-fill saved bottles with water from home, or I run out of it.
-
I drink spring water to avoid fluoride.

i definitely do not drink los angeles tap water...it is terrible.
the best tap water i every drank was growing up in sf bay area though.

Dr OX had a show yesterday Feb 17. It was about chemicals in tapwater causing cancer. He advice everyone to get your water tested and have it filtered because the bottle water is not so great either. You learn something new everyday.
-
I don't like the taste of tap water unless it's ice cold. There's something about tap water - it has a funky aftertaste, to me. But buying bottled water, over time, can get very expensive. I bought a filter. If you normally purchase bottled water on a regular basis, a filter will pay for itself over time. The only bottled "water" I normally purchase is a product called "Clear and Natural." I'm trying not to drink soda or heavily sugared juice-drinks. I recently moved to a new state to live with my fiance, so a change in diet and physical activity has made me gain a significant amount of weight. I like this product because it's a carbonated, flavored water that tastes like a fruity soda, but it doesn't have any sugar or calories, and isn't sweetened with aspertame, so it doesn't have that bizarre aftertaste most diet sodas have.
-
I been watching Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura and I don't think bottled water is safe ever since then. I have 2 bottles that can hold 3 gallons of water and I get the water from my mom's place. She lives up in the mountains and the water taste better than the town water.
-
 I used to drink bottled water until I read an article about how many plastic bottles are thrown into the dumps everyday. I went to Home Depot and bought a filter system for the faucet in my kitchen. Now, I no longer buy it that way. It saves me money and it saves on the enviroment. Alot of people might think that they can't really make the change but I like it better because I know that my water hasn't been stored in a plastic bottle for only God knows how long before I get to drink it. :peace:
-
I prefer bottled water. Tap water doesn't taste very good
-
both but mainly use filtered tap water buy kroger brand during summer to take to ball games.
-
I drink both but mostly tap.
-
NO, I do not drink bottled water. To save money I use Brita Filters. The taste is great. My kids drink more water now. Until something better comes along I will keep using the Brita Filters. ;D
-
Brita's don't really do a whole lot as far as filtration goes. It'll clean up the taste somewhat, but really if you want amazing tasting water; reverse ossmosis is the way to go.
I got our undersink model at Lowes and it makes coffee and vegtables and anything that uses water taste so much better. It's all we use now for drinking or boiling.
-
I love my bottle water. The tap water out here is not soft at all it taste nasty.yuck :angry7:
-
Yes, because the tap water where I live doesn't taste good.
-
I do drink bottled water on occasion. I don't go out and buy it continuously because for one, I can't afford too and I'd rather not use so much plastic when it's easier and better to just get a filtration system and refill bottles at home. It saves money and the environment.
-
;) Yes, I drink bottled water...to me its better than the water from the sink. Much healthier for you too.
-
I just drink plain old tap water but I've seen some cute filter water bottles where you just buy new filters after a certain amount of uses. :)
-
When I lived in Massachusetts the water tasted horrible. It just had this odd aftertaste. I had it tested, and everything was OK, but I just never liked it, so I drank bottled water all the time. Now I'm in Tennessee and the water definitely tastes different here, I can't explain it. It's just better. I'll buy bottled water if I'm out and forgot to bring a bottle with me, but for the most part I'm drinking tap now.
-
I buy my water by the gallon its cheaper... We are building a house that will have filter systems to the kitchen so I wont have to buy gallons of water and will just have to replace filters wooo hoooo
-
Yes, the water from our tap is pretty bad.
-
We used to buy bottled water all the time, then we switched to refilling them, and now we just drink the filtered water from the fridge.
-
Yeah,sometimes.
-
Yes, I drink bottled water. Though I usually just get the store brand kind and I buy it in bulk. Bottled water is so expensive being as though it is the most abundant resource that we have on this earth. I am scared of lead and other contaminations that other water may have.
-
YES! TAP WATER IS GROSS! I RATHER SPEND MONEY ON GOOD CLEAN WATER THAN FROM MY FAUCET. YOU CAN TASTE THE DIFFERENCE.
-
i love evan..
-
I have a brita filter at home and I have a metal reusable water bottle that I fill and take with me everywhere. Much better than wasting plastic bottles!
-
Do you filter your drinking water or buy bottled water? I know it may be a waste of money but I just feel better drinking bottled water.
I do BRITA water, have since yr 2000 when they came out with the big water scare
The water taste sweeter and don't want to be a part of the big plastic war to use more plastic
-
Yes pretty much I only drink bottled water. I should probally just get a brita filter though
-
i got a brita filter that goes in the fridge and i love it! i can make my own bottled water =)
-
Yes! Bottled water...if you know what you are getting. I prefer bottled water with minerals and vitamins.
-
I used to drink a ton. When I lived in Italy, people thought you were nuts if you drank the tap water. Now I just get a filter and basically make my own. It actually saves me a ton of money that way.
-
I do every once in a while when not at home but water out of the faucet is just as good.
-
nope, tap only
-
Bottled water is dangerous! It is not regulated and companies do self reporting to FDA ... if your bottle at the bottom says PET or PETE and it gets warm then you are looking at toxins leeching into the water. Some studies say it's not a big deal but these studies come from the very companies that manufacture the plastic for them. Drink TAP! or filter your well water!
