Who is your Internet provider? And do you like them?
I have Open Range and they are pretty decent but I mainly have them because the bigger names, Comcast and Qwest don't provide to the small town I live in

I have Comcast and they're great. Haven't had a problem yet.

I use GO DADDY, and do it myself. so many are learning how to do that today. but it is good that you know how to be your own webmaster & for others. My grandson use to do mine, but he got married and now does it for our City. Of course went to college to do it. so all is well, I guess!! :D

The internet provider in my home is Comcast. Now and then, I would deal with a problem.
-
Mediacom, and they are pretty fast but they have frequent outages and slow times. This also knocks my phone out since it is through them also. We live in a small town though, and its them or dsl.

time warner - and although i hate, hate, hate
this company because they're absolutely incompetent,
we haven't had a problem with them for our internet
specifically...
i'd like to find a cheaper route. i think we pay right under
$40 a month but this includes internet only. i haven't
really shopped around and i throw AT&T's junkmail offers
straight into the garbage because the fine print is a joke!

Comcast! We actually listed Comcast as a must have when locating our new home lol!

Funny that this should come up at this moment. We use Timer Warner Cable and for the most part they have been reliable and dependable until tonight when they were down for about four hours.

8) I just purchased a Cricket account, I can go anywhere except in the mountains..

We have *bleep* and it is great, never had and problems with them. And they are free here.

My internet providers are Verizon and AOL. I love them.
-
Roadrunner, I like it, its not as fast as everyone says it is though.

You know I started this thread a few days after my internet started acting up, I thought it was fixed that day but alas I am still experiencing major issues, my entire town is so I may need to look elsewhere! :sad1:

I live in a small town in Texas and use Partnership Broadband. I don't know how widespread it is but you can check in to it. I have never had any trouble at all with them and they are very reasonably priced. I live in a rural area where the wind blows pretty bad sometimes and have yet to lose our connection because of it. I have with every other service I have tried though.

We have many choices in our town but I found that some work better then others. We could not decided what to do, so we went to a local techinal school that has an IST Department, and they were able to tell me the differrance between the companies in the area. So we found it was great to get an opionon that was not based on them making money.
-
I have tds. They are ok. I wished they had better offers tho and they are the only service providers in the area. :(

I live in a small city in Tennessee and we have had the best service with Charter Communications. The department of electricity has a lightband fiber optic service. We tried it and there were tons of problems. So back to Charter we went.

I have Comcast & hate them. The cable sucks & there was no help when my internet shorted out. I can only afford basic cable & it sucks. This week the TV kept on going out into a blue screen. I would switch to another provider but there is no competition with comcast. All they have her is dish & I don't like having large pod sitting somewhere in my yard. I saw one of the neighbors with a disk in front of their yard, very tacky. I wish there would be competition with comcast in this small hick town! I know i'm paying more for less with comcast.

We have Insight. We get cable/phone/net through them and so far we've only had 1 problem but my boyfriend called them and got the problem fixed.

We have Verizon DSL and I am happy with them most days. But then there are the days when I can't get an internet connection at all. I know it's not my stuff because the stuff worked perfectly fine and nobody touched it. This happened to me 2 days ago. I was on the internet, went to the doctor, came back, and no internet. I finally called after about 4 hours of no internet. I got an automatic person to run a line test and magically when they were testing, the internet came back. The automated person said there is no issue with your line. I was so mad. I've had worse problems than that though.

I have metrocast, it is a branch of comcast. I have not had any problems with them, once and a while when we loose power I may have to reset my modem and router, other than that I am pretty satisfied!!!
-
I have Massillon Cable. It's a provider in our local area. The price is right and the quality is very good. You can get a human on the phone! Also, the actually have an office with real people in it who can help you! I love their service.
-
I have a company called DSL Extreme. They run about 23 dollars after tax and junk fees. I have been very happy with them. Their service runs over phone line and I am able to watch movies online.
-
windstream yes they are a good company been with them for 9 years.

I have Jet Wireless and I pay $15 a month. I had a few problems with it at the beginning but, its working like a champ now. Some guy name Hank from my town started Jet Wireless about a year ago. He plan to offer his internet services to people in Vancouver, WA. So, I bet its only get better from here on out :)

I have Time Warner Cable (Roadrunner) and it's ok but just keeps going up. I was thinking about dropping the tv part and just going with internet but if you do that, it's more expensive. I'm tempted to try Cricket wireless with the next rate increase.
