I have heard that "King's Speech" and "Black Swan" are running neck and neck. I haven't seen either one but heard that they are both extraordinary. I usually wait until after the Oscar's to go out and see the movies that were won and were nominated.

The "King's speech" looks promising, however I feel that Black Swan will take it.

Doubtful that The King's Speech will lose to Black Swan. It won all of the other big awards this season, especially the Globes. I'm excited to see the lead actor finally get rewarded for years of great acting!
-
I think the Kings Speech will win, however I would love to see it be Black Swan. I think the only thing Black Swan will win will be for best actess with Natalie Portman though.

The Human Centipede.
Oh wait, I thought you said what movie was going to win at the Razzie Awards. ;D

Boy I am definitely behind as I haven't heard about either of these movies but I do like Natalie Portman and who is in the King's Speech movie I had better brush up so I can at least sort of know what is going on To the movies I go to check these 2 out.

i haven't seen these movies this year -- but with 10 nominee's for best picture that is a lot of choice! :)
I think Kings Speech and Black Swan will both do well....I say the best picture will go to King's Speech

I hear that Queen Elizabeth has seen Kings Speech and approves of the movie as accurate. I hope to go see it this month. Black Swan is not appealing to me. I need to check out the others.
-
I have no idea, what either of those movies are...
*goes off to google*

I'm not sure who will win the Oscars but I watched the movie unstoppable the other day and it was awsome. If you havn't watched it yet you should it was a great movie

The King's Speech is the favorite. The Social Network, next. The rest are all long shots. Sort of a weak year for movies. I have only seen True Grit so naturally I am required to root for it to win.
-
Unfortunately i haven't seen many of the movies that are up for oscars but i have seen a couple and i think the Social Network will clean up.

The only one I've see is The Social Network (just last night on DVD) - but I've heard about most of the others. Given how Oscar tends to work, I'm going to guess it'll go to The King's Speech, with True Grit as a runner up.
Although there was a lot of buzz about Black Swan - lately they've been voting the winning movie that has the broader appeal.
Guess we'll all see in a few hours.

Black Swan. That movie was a success. Also, Natalie Portman did an exceptional job.

I tivo'd the Oscars so I have not watched it yet...I do not care who wins! I just enjoy watching it and seeing how everyone is dressed!
-
I missed the Oscars last night. Which film won for Best Picture? I thought The King's Speech was a terrific movie.
-
The King's Speech was last nights big winner. I'll be waiting for Netflix to see it. In 5 years no one will remember it won.
Looks like True Grit, the only film I saw, was shut out.
-
King's Speech won!!! I have to see that movie. I haven't noticed anyone saying it. My next schedule for coming week is King's Speech

Poor Jesse Eisenberg, he was so gracious when he didn't get best actor, but there was this flash of disappointment on his face. (I wanted him to win, so maybe I'm projecting LOL!)
