I used to use facebook not that often. There came a time when I gave facebook a pretty lengthy vacation. But recently I've caught myself going back to facebook every now and then, accepting friend requests that i've ignored, and posting and updating regularly.......I....think...I'm....becoming......a....FACEBOOK ADDICT! :o :o :o :o :o

I have been on Facebook since 2005 when it as just for college students. I am on facebook more now than I used to be.

Nope but i did get to hang out with Mark Zuckerberg in New York, hes pretty cool :) and he taught me some programming stuff

I just got a facebook. I go on their a few times a week, but I am still trying to get use to it.

I didn't used to like it when it first started. It seemed confusing to me. But in the past year most of my family from back home in California use it so I am able to keep in contact that way. Even my mom uses it now. I am usually going there several times a day so I guess you can say I am a Facebook addict. But that is okay because it is all in the name of family unity :peace: :heart:

I am on in the morning, just checking and also in the evening, but just for a few minutes.

I love it, and probably spend too much time on it. I love some of the games. I enjoy keeping up with my family and friends - we "see" each other on FB more than in person (being so far apart!!!)

I have a facebook account and have had it probably for about a year but I just don't really care to use it very much. I can count the amount of times on one hand that I have went to face book. I just don't care for it that much. Now, my youngest son gets on it and he keeps my email jammed up with stuff from his friends. I think he got 5 polks or whatever just last night. He enjoys it .I guess it is mainly for the younger generation. :peace:

I think addict is a harsh word, but i do get on there on a daily bases. But i only use it to play games i don't really communicate with anyone on there.

i mostly go on facebook to participate in the giveaways that some of the companies have on their pages. i get a lot of free products that way. less money out of my pocket!!!

I deleted my first facebook account because a lot of people that I barely knew and didn't really care about added me. The second time around I kept it to only family and people I have actually talked to in the last year. It is a fun way to keep in touch with family that live far away and I only get to see once a year.

How do you recover from Facebook addiction? I need some help!
I don't have an account... my family keeps telling me to get one, but I here them talking about it non stop.
Easy solution is to lose your internet connection or start playing on pay to click sites (a few so that it keeps you occupied by clicking) cause this is what I do when not on FusionCash. I'm liking it here more since the value for a dollar is much greater.

Same here. I nearly login everyday. Only if I'm out of town than this is different story. They have more game for you to enjoy for your free time.

I love facebook. it's a great way to stay in touch with famil and friends. I am nOT one of those pople who friend everyone they've ever met in their life

No! I had an account at one time only to keep in contact with my step children but have closed the account and have no desire to take part. I find it a waste of time

I joined up here to earn some extra buck for farm cash on my Farmville......I think that says it all! ::)

Facebook addict??? I'm guilty.
I started on Myspace..took forever to get the hang of it..wasn't thrilled with the idea of Facebook at first...but my kids just kept after me until I gave in... once I got into Facebook, I never go on Myspace any more. I like Facebook SO much better. I keep in touch with family, friends, and have caught up with a lot of high school friends and classmates, ....some blasts from the past.
I think it is more time efficient for everyone involved...way better than being on the phone all the time with people and their busy schedules.... get caught up with people when it's convenient for you.
And, I'm pretty much hooked on a few of the games. Great stress relief.

I use facebook but I'am addicted to it. I think it gets annoying after a while. I like to go on a couple a days a week.

Not really addicted, but I do check it several times a day. Mainly because when I get to work, sometimes we are slow and I want something to do, so I pull it up on my cell phone. Otherwise, nah. I am not constantly sitting in front of the computer staring waiting for someone to comment me.

I just started using it more, but I only spend an hour or so a day. Mostly I have been working on Fan Gate pages to get more people to like my pages and bring in viral traffic.

No, Thankfully. I stopped going on a long time ago. I just can't see the point of waisting time looking at what everyone else is doing. I'd rather be doing things myself.

No, I am not. I used to be a MySpace addict, but it became too slow with all the goodies I loaded it with. Now I started using Facebook, but not very familiar with it.

I'm a closet addict, I go on almost daily but rarely post or say something on it. Just like to see what my friends or long lost friends are up to.

I like staying anonymous online. While I do have a facebook account all it does is remind me that I would rather not be friends with 90% of the people who want to friend me and that family has a new way to nag me about everything. Thus I check it less than once a month.

I only go on to facebook once a day. I have a lot of sites on my Facebook that I can find coupons, freebies and things that go with it. I have saved a lot of money on some of the items but I don't go on there alot. I know people that are on the site all the time. I don't have the time to do that. I will check it like I check my email. In the morning or in the evening and that is the end of it.

I'm thrilled that I don't have to attend AA for being on facebook!! lol However, I'm a member of myyearbook. I keep my favorite songs in my playlist there and keep it open when I'm online so that I can listen to my choice of music. And when I'm ready for a break, I talk to friends. They're setup so that you can link it to facebook if anyone is interested. They also have cool games from what I'm told. I don't do the games. People do say some of them are better than Facebook!? My music helps me to think and get things done. It seems to energize me... not like that little bunny though. lol.

i wouldnt say ADDICT. i'd just say that i spend alot of time on it. most of my friends are back in my home country, so it's kinda useful for me to be in touch with them

I started facebook in 2007. Lately I haven't been on there nearly as much as I used to be. I wonder if it will just be a fad like myspace was. It's a good way to keep in contact with people but I'm getting a little bored with it anymore.

i used to be addicted to face book but thank heavens for intervention. FB is now so annoying and stupid to me especially those that paste every step they take. you dont even know who is watching you or waiting to get you alone in some place.....

You're absolutely 100% correct!!! Spot on!!! People don't realize that we still have crazy obsessed people in this world and if you log your every move, like a lot of them do, then you could possibly be asking for trouble whether you know it or not. I also think something else will come out eventually and majority of people will flock to it. lol

I used to use Facebook a lot. That's when I just discovered it. Now, I really don't update anything anymore. I also feel if I don't add someone from work, they'll take it personally and whatnot, so I make sure to check it every so often, just to be sure someone I know isn't being ignored.
Speaking of which, what about those you don't know? Oh man! There are so many people hitting that 'add' button without actually knowing who the person is. Absolutely no connection whatsoever. It's kind of annoying, but again, I don't really sit on Facebook so often anymore.

I do consider myself a facebook addict. I make several posts a day, and check my friends post about every fifteen to twenty minutes. I get an attitude if I cannot access my page. If I'm away from home then I make sure I keep my phone on just in case somebody tries to contact me on facebook. I think I may try to wean myself away from it by limiting myself to one facebook session a day.

You said it right... a lot of drama. lol. The freebies are good. I visited a blog last week, he listed several freebies so I got what I could. One of them actually lead me to facebook. I can do without all the... what are you doing this very second talk.

I totally enjoy Facebook, but do not think I am an addict. I dig a few of the games and check up on only a few people, there are many times were I let Facebook go for awhile. It is kinda like being on a diet, i went at it real strong at first, then I slow down, then a few weeks latter pick it up again. lol
