Although I believe that a man should never cheat I have seen times when a marriage would go its limits and would result in one cheating. I knew a man one time who lived in torment at home it evetually broke him down and he cheated. There are two sides to this and a lot of times we only see one side. What do you think? :dontknow:

Sorry, I don't agree. If he was in "torment" for so long, why didn't he leave?

Yes there are really three side to every relationship when cheating comes into play. There is his side, her side, and the truth. Peolple cheat because they want to have their cake and eat it too. The train of life only goes in one direction at the same speed all the time. If you are unhappy in your current relationship get out of it, because once the train of life stops for you your dead.

If he lived in torment then, I can't imagine the torment he lives in now.

Maybe his wife was a real *bleep*, and they had kids, and he was miserable, but stayed in the marriage because of the kids and to take care of his mentally sick or perhaps physically sick wife, BUTTTT he just needed some kind of comfort and relief and he found it in arms or bed of another. BUT HE COULD HAVE JUST TAKEN SOME HAPPY PILLS, and BEEN HOOKED ON DRUGS !!

i was unhappy in my marriage, but i didn't cheat , i took my 2 year old at the time and filed for a divorce, like a responsible adult should do.

If you are married, you shouldn't cheat, If you want to cheat, don't get married and I've been married 30 years and have NEVER cheated...

I honestly believe that everyone who has been married has times when they wonder if they did the right thing or if they might like some strange tail. There are always those urges and doubts. If, however, someone feels the urge so strongly that they act on it, they do not need to be married, and should be an adult about it and file for divorce.

If people actually thought about their vows before they said them, and the implications of those vows, there would either be fewer (unhappy) marriages.
It is also a pity people are not made of stronger, more fidelitous stuff anymore. Why is it that fifty or sixty years ago our grandparents were able to keep their families together without cheating or divorcing and now we are so feeble that half of all marriages end in divorce and marriages last as few as ten or as very few as three years on average?
Why are people so bent on comfort at the expense of valuable relationships (with God, with others, and with oneself)?
