Title: NATURAL HAIR
Post by: MsDani on March 20, 2011, 11:18:50 pm
;D Ladies i have been natural for 7 months but have been post relaxer for a year now and i actually love my hair. i always had long beautiful hair but too much chemicals so i decided to start over. if your thinking about going natural then go for it what i recommend if you do is wait till your hair grows to a comfortable length and then chop the relaxer offf and then you will be suprised with what your working with meaning your texture.

NATURAL LADIES
1.Keep hair moisturized
2.trim when needed
3.use only natural products
4.no alcohol products mineral oil petroleum
5. use coconut oil olive oil jamaican black castor oil jajoba oil rosemary oil any type of organic or natural oil
6.stay away from sulfate
7. TRY NOT TO GIVE IN BEING NATURAL IS BEAUTIFUL AND A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE  :peace:

I have fried my hair so many times with bleach and colors.  I finally let it grow out natural.  It was hard to do at first, but I love it now!

I went all natural four years ago and I love it.  Chemicals not only damage your hair, they also get into your body and causes damage there as well.  Yeah, I get the gray coming in but what the heck, it's mine and its all natural.  I use olive oil and coconut oils and keep it trimmed well.  Try it you will like it.

I'm trying to go natural, I've been dying my hair since I was in 8th grade and I am tired of switching hair colors, So I've been trying to dye it a color really close to my natural so when it fades it won't be so drastic.

I have always wanted to go natural.  I think now is the time.  My scalp itches even when I wash it and I think its because of all the chemicals I have put in my hair.

I had natural hair a long time ago, but these days black women in the professional field just don't have the time to keep that natural look and lets be for real, if you want to move up you just can't go natural. :icon_rr:

I have natural curly hair and never used colors or chemicals, but can get on my nerves cause when the humidity is up or when it is raining
it will frizz up or gets more ringlets.  So on days like that, I usually just use a flat iron.
