i grew up living on the beach but i much rather be at a pool no one kicking sand in your face and you don't feel a sticky when you get out of a pool like you do when your at the beach
-
i prefer the beach but i hate getting sand on my feet...so dry and gross. :( i tried to like it, but i dont.
-
I would love to go to the beach or a pool!
They both sound like a riot! Maybe this
summer?
-
I like them both. I perfer the beach for walking and putting my feet in the water, I perfer the pool for swimming( salt water pool is the best but don't have one near me). I also perfer a pool when I want to read a book
-
Beach.
-
the beach is a much better environment with the sand. more relaxing

Me; I prefer the beach never did like a pool, the chlorine bothers my eyes and you can never tell if the pool has been cleaned properly or not!
-
Depends on the weather. On a really hot day the beach unless it's windy also.
-
The beach! 8)
-
As long as there are some waves and you can go out pretty far and still stand I like the beach better.
-
I would much rather swim in a pool! at the beach, the sand gets everywhere and the water have fish in it!
-
I would have to say a pool because most times the water is clean and you don't have to worry about what could be floating in it. Also you can see what is in it most times. With the beach anything can wash up at anytime. I was at a beach one time and my son found some interesting things floating on the water edge. Also had a time when my son got an infections from the water at one of the local beaches in his ear. He ended up hospitalized.
-
I like walking along the beach where the wave comes in and wash over my feet. Then, I like to run out in the ocean and into the wave while its coming in. I don't get to enjoy the ocean much anymore since I have random work schedule.
-
I like the beach because I grew up not to far from it.
-
Beach - outdoor natural setting is always preferred by me.
-
I love the beach; I find it so relaxing. Can't beat listening to the waves and the sun beating down.
-
Beach is nice, but the pool is safer and more private.
Plus fish don't f$@# in a pool.
-
I would rather be at the Beach, grew up in Northern Calif, and miss the Ocean. I was in Southern Calif just this last Feb. it was a nice 71 degrees better then where I live now in Utah.

I like to go the beach because it's a nature place where I go when I'm feeling blue. Pool is good too.
-
I would say the pool. Salt water burns my eyes and skin. :( but that's only if I had to choose beteen the 2... I love the river! Fishing, camping, and atvs. But what do you expect in south georgia ;D
-
I don't know how to swim but I like the beach more. I like to hear the waves and the birds and like to hunt sea shells. I want to go back to Fla. in the next year or two. Maybe when I get me a new car I can do that.
-
I prefer the pool as I like to see both what's in the water with me and the bottom. Not to mention no rip tides, etc.
-
I would have to say that the majority of the time I would answer pool, it is just more relaxing. But on occassion I would love to be at the beach!!!

-
i prefer the beach only because i can put my feet in the sand gotta love it lol. :)
-
The beach
-
I prefer private pool. Too many germs out in the public.
-
Both. If it is summer time we usually go to the beach.
-
i prefer a pool, no fish :fish: , its cleaner, and not crowded like the beach.
-
I like the beach for fun when you have a bunch of people your with, but the pool when it's more intimate with your wife and kids and dog and whatnot
-
The beach is the best. Because there are people to meet and things to do with the sand. The beach is just a great experience.
-
BEACH !! I LIVE IN THE SOUTH (MISSISSIPPI)
-
I like the beach alot but I prefer the pool!!! I do not own my own pool but I hope to purchase one real soon!!
-
I've only been to the beach once at a local lake, about ten years ago. (I'm nineteen.)
I would rather go to that beach on a warm, summer day only once more in my lifetime than go to one thousand more swimming pools.
-
I prefer a pool. A beach is ok, but in a pool is more relaxing I feel.
-
No pool because it is a big toilet bowl for some people...No beach because you can't see tho the water, unless a P.R. beach.
-
it depends...in some places I'd rather be in a beach, others I would rather be in a pool
-
Actually both. If we are at the beach, my kids and grandkids spend hours building sand castles. It is very relaxing to listening to the ocean while reading a good book. On the other hand, it is nice to watch the kids play in the pool and not have to worry about all the sand that will get dump in my car no matter how much we hose off the kids and the sand toys.
-
I like the look of the beach but enjoy swimming in a private pool.
I recently had an estimate on a pool for my yard and just about
had a heart attack. So much for that idea! :dontknow:
-
I prefer a pool because I grew up with a pool.
-
I love the beach. I'm actually going to get married on the beach of lake Erie.
-
neither cuz i don't swim. but if i go somewhere like a vacation then the pool is good for me
-
I like both...The beach has beautiful scenery (and sounds) and you can build sand castles and collect sea shell and be one with nature. The pool is great as well because it's convenient and private.
-
Let's see. Hmmm? THE BEACH, THE BEACH, THE BEACH!!!! Especially in Thailand. I can sit under an umbrella in a comfortable reclining outdoor chair while overlooking ships, jet skis and birds flying above the water while at the same time sipping the juice out of a freshly cut coconut that I paid a dollar for, while at the same time enjoying an hour long foot massage from a cute Thai masseuse for $6 an hour. See what I mean? The beach baby, the beach!
-
I grew up in the Finger Lakes area of NY so was always around water. I really do not like pools and prefer the beach now. There are no lakes where I live now in PA--except man made atrocities (imo), the beach is 3 hrs away; I get there 3-4 times a year.
-
I prefer the beach because of the waves and the sea-shells.
-
That is a toss up. I like the beach in general because you can just lay on a towel in the sand, but I don't like the feel of the salt on my skin after I get out of the water. And it also irritates me when the sand gets on my towel. The pool you don't have to deal with the sand, but the chlorine dries my skin out and bleaches my bathing suit and the chairs are mostly uncomfortable. I think I would prefer the beach if I didn't have my kids with my. Cleaning sand out of every crack of their bodies is not fun.
-
I like my pool in the back yard in it's free to swim any time I want to.
-
Beachhhhh
-
pool coz i would know it's clean.
-
I love going to beach
-
We love going to our local pool. Much better than going home with kids full of sand.
-
i love being on the beach but i love the fact when you are at a pool you dont have all the sand blowing on you from the wind
-
I prefer the beach. The pool is like an artificial confined space of water without the force of nature.
-
Definitly the pool. I can only go to the beach like once a year. After that, I get really bored of it. I hate the burning hot sand stinging my feet, the feeling of the sunburn creeping up my skin, the even worse feeling of cold and greasy sunblock dripping down my neck. People being rude and knocking beach *bleep* all up in my area! And the utter grossness that people seem to feel is part of their beach routine..such as people wearing thongs/speedos when they shouldn't be, and of course, the people who find it ok to relieve themselves in the water, right next to where you are standing. EWWW! No thanks, I'd rather be floating in my peaceful pool!
-
i better learn to swim in a pool im scared i will drown :-X
-
hmmm Id rather pool sometimes as the water in the beach is cold even if it was really hot outside sometimes, haha idk
-
Love the beach but prefer to swim in a pool
-
I prefer the beach, because its so peaceful. You don't even have to get in the water, you can just stay there all day and watch the waves
-
omg...i love the beach!! i would love to move there and live year round..love the smell of the ocean ;D
-
It depends on what kind of mood i'm in, but you have to bring the party to the pool and the party is always waiting for you at the beach. I'll take the beach.
-
I grew up on the Mississippi Gulf Coast so the beach was always a part of my life until I moved to Atlanta. I miss it. But we do have a pool. As for which I prefer I guess I will always be partial to the beach. :)
