Me? NOT ENOUGH. About 5 hrs and thats on a good day. My spouse who always makes it to bed before me either gets up in the middle of the night and wakes me up or my son for his 5am milk cup. I stay up after everyone is sleep to work on my business ideas and boy time is wearing me out.

8 hours is good for me :) I'm a teenager though.

I get enough sleep but night before last I slept almost 12 hours and last night I could not sleep at all. I laid down about 6 am this morning and finally got to sleep and slept about 2 hours. Wish now I had not slept that lone night before last. Now going to feel bad all day today. Hope everyone has a nice day. God Bless everyone.

For me, this is a loaded question. I am a chronic insomniac and suffer terribly with it. I developed insomnia in 1975 and have not had one normal sleep since. My sleep is completely irregular and erratic. Friday night, I could only get two or three hours sleep. Last night, I was able to get eight or nine hours sleep but woke up about six times. I have learned to manage and live with my insomnia but it is a terrible thing to have. :crybaby2:

Not enough :( I was working til midnight then wind down time, then middle of the night baby wake up then fiancee getting up for work then baby being woken by that. Now I get off in the 10pm area so I'm really trying to get to bed right away to get a little bit more shut eye. If I am lucky I get 3-4 hours of straight sleep after that I am screwed. :wave:

@bostonphil That must be terrible to have to deal with not being able to sleep I have not had that problem but I do get involved with doing projects and find that it is later and later I get very engrossed especially if I am crocheting or working on the net I guess I do not worry about sleep as I have no alarm clock to answer to
Over the years have you tried different methods to sleep better there are natural products that work have you tried any of those??? My daughter found she had sleep apnea has to were a mask but she gets a good nights sleep she went through a sleep study just food for thought. :-

I used to get 8 hours a day. Now, I get 6 hours due to full time school and part time work, its tiring. :crybaby2:

Sometimes I would take advantage of my weekends and sleep till like 11:30 am. But when I have school, I only get like 7 hours of sleep. I know that I'm supposed to sleep like 8 or 9 hours but my school is pretty far from where I live and well you know, I have to wake up earlier.

I try to get 8 hours or a little more per night. Even if I get to bed on time though, I usually wake up throughout the night and never get enough sleep. It's not fun.

7 hours is my perfect nights sleep, but i can actually function on 5 or 6, which is good because thats usually about what i get. anything more than 8 hours and i feel worse than if i'd only slept 2. but the past week i've only been getting 4 or 5 because i have been staying up late packing and cleaning the house, not to mention that i am soooo excited about moving!

I get 7-8 hours of sleep a night and sometimes take a nap if necessary. I have fibromyalgia/chonic fatigue syndrome which makes it challenging when I have pain. But thanks to a medication called neurontin(gabapentin), it allows me to get the rest my body needs.

I sleep way too much which is horrible! For some reason I just can't get to sleep but when I finally do get to sleep I can't wake up! Oh what a life. It is so horrible. I think that I am more of an night owl but I really wish I could sleep at 8 PM and wake up at 8AM or something like that but it seems pretty much impossible for my fiance and I to do that. Any recommendations? Thoughts? or Opinions? Any advice would be very much appreciated. :( I hate it when I sleep through the day :(

i usually get about 6-7 hours of sleep an night,
and then catch up on my days off... sleeping 10
or so hours if i need it (and i usually do!)

about 7 hours but it's broken up, i don't sleep that straight through

About 6 hours, that is a pretty good night of sleep for me....Even on the weekends I can't seem to get much more!

I try to get 7-8 hrs a night, but I have 3 kids and a deployed husband, so it's not always possible. My husband is coming home this week, so after he gets home, I won't get any sleep.

Its nice to know I am not alone after reading some of your replies and to the person who said they slept 12 hrs. Do you have kids and if so whats your secret?To the guy with sleep inssomnia that must be tough.
To Jessica have you tried adding supplements b12 gives me lots of energy during the day plus a multi vitamin.Another great supplement is acai berry its all natural and you would love it. Gives you a great boost.

I get anywhere from 3-10 hours. Just depends on how I'm feeling.

I sleep around 8 hours, but I sleep late and wake up late, I need to wait for my husband every night since he arrive home around 11 or 11 30PM from his work.
I am not working now, a baby wake me up several times at night, so I normally get up at 9:00 or later

I don't believe in a lot of sleep, I can get just 5 hours and I' m good. If I get 8 hours of sleep, I'm just so tired, but if I get just 5 hours, I'm good to go

I need to sleep at least 8 hours. :) My little girl is already a night owl and stays up late (around 10-11pm) and she usually wakes up between 8-9. So even if I stay up till midnight I still get 8 hours of sleep. Awesome :thumbsup:

I like to get 8hrs but if I can get more than I'm really happy
