HOW MUCH HIGHER CAN GAS PRICES GO?

It's like everyday, gas goes up .10! Here in FLA the cheapest gas price I've seen is $3.71! We have to find better cleaner resource to run our cars. I'm tired of America having to be a slave to the middle east's oil kings! I hope the day comes when that fuel/oil because as worthless as dirt.

Gas is $4.09 in Greenup Co., KY.  How high can it go??  As high as it wishes since we have no control of the cost.  Too much speculation is put in to future prices that affects our current prices ~ which it shouldn't.  We have been blessed so far, many other countries have had high fuel prices for sometime now.  As prices go up, keep an eye on how much "record profit" these oil companies will rake in at consumers' expense.

I am in St. Louis Missouri and I think we have dropped to a whopping $3.81.  We also have had 5 drive offs this week alone!   If the gas people would just get a clue.  Lower prices, we would be willing to fill up more and acually they would make MORE money lowering the price.  I haven't filled up in over 2 months.  Lower the price and I would fill up all the time and they would sell more gas!  Agree?

:bootyshake: $3.85 here in my area of PA. As long as speculators on Wall St and the oil sheiks control things, prices won't go down. This is very bad for an economy trying to recover.

As high as $6.00 or more a gallon, not that anyone could afford to go anywhere, it's just about like that now.

I heard on the news last night that part of the cause of these high prices are the new environmental regulations put in place by the Obama administration. Gas companies are being forced to buy already refined gas from overseas, thus forced to raise the price on us all. I really, really hope a strong conservative can get the Republican ticket, and we can sweep these enviro-terrorists out of office next year!

It can and probably will go higher. We are nowhere near the peak season.

I paid $3.42 a gallon here in suburbs of Denver last week. On average it is around $3.55 although you can get it cheaper with a loyalty card.

I think we have some of the lowest prices in the country though.

A few years ago, I used to fill my car for $22 (had a Neon). Now with my Mustang, it costs almost $60 to fill. Yes, I have a slightly bigger gas tank, but gas prices have nearly doubled what they were maybe 5 years ago. Almost $4 here when it was maybe $2.50 back then,

Gas prices are insane. It's very depressing because basically gas prices will continue to rise since oil companies know we don't have much choice but to pay for it. I try to do a lot of walking and ride the bus occassionally, but the town I live in is spread out and public transportation is only so so and not available in all areas. So you have to drive. It's discouraging.

They say the gas prices are suppose to go down during the summer but it will go back up because of the kind of grade they use. They said $3.50 but I don't know. It cost my hubby to fill his 2000 bonneville $83 because his car takes premium.  We are looking to sell that gas gussler.

It had been reported that oil prices have fallen and gas price would slowly go down.  However, in my area (Greenup, KY) the gas went down a few cents and then jumped back up to $4.05.  What gives with that?  I think satan has demons running the gas companies.

I paid $3.69 yesterday.  I heard the other day that gas was going down by $.69 by the summer.  What a blessing if that is true.  I can remember back in the 70's it was 29 cents a gallon.  Boy would like to see that again.

I live in MS. gas here is 3.89 per gallon. With the gas prices steadily rising I try to make all appointments and outings with one trip, instead of spacing them out. It has saved me alot of money. I also had to find another way t earn extra money to pay for therising gas and oil prices. That's why I am here on this site. Believe it or not I have a small compact car and I put $5.00 dollars in my car to make it to church....well believe it....I ran out of gas before I got there...LOL. I can laugh about it now, but it was embarrassing being on the side of the road out of gas with 4 kids. I think gas prices should drop. REMEMBER....$5.00 DOLLARS WILL NOT EVEN GET YOU OUT OF YOUR DRIVEWAY MUCH LES START YOUR LAWNMOWER...
