Title: What is your favorite flower
Post by: tigerlilly01 on May 06, 2011, 04:59:44 am: My very favorite is the daisy. I'm not sure why but since I was a little girl I have loved them. They are so beautiful and innocent. I would rather get a bouquet of daisys than one with roses ... or a mix :)

I used to have a yellow rose bush but when we moved I tried to transplant it and it died. I have been hinting to my kids that I would like one for Mothers Day so we shall see.....

Post by: luvh8tragedy87 on May 06, 2011, 07:41:11 am: I love flowers. That's why I want to go into horticulture. I guess my favorite would be lilacs. Love the smell and the color. But I tend to like flowers that grow in bunches like lilacs, snowballs and hydrangeas.

Post by: EAngels on May 11, 2011, 11:20:38 am: Ahh....this quiet hard cause I love them all. It reminds me that no matter how ugly and unfair is the world we live it, their is still a beauty lies upon it. Maybe yellow daisy or red roses because it's meaningful.

Post by: mommagoes on May 15, 2011, 10:42:00 pm: i love daffodils. i love the bright yellow color, the unique shape of them, and the fact that when i was growing up we lived next to a UGE meadow full of them and i would run out and pick my mom vase fulls all the time. for more traditional flowers, like roses, i like the dark yellow ones with the really dark green leaves or the paler yellow ones wiht the pinkish-red tinge to the ends of the petals

They were always a different color, the florist enjoyed trying to find something new and different each month.
