Title: Taylor Swift or Carrie Underwood
Post by: vicogden on May 11, 2011, 07:35:10 am: Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood are two of the leading ladies in the current country and pop music scene. If you had to choose one to see in concert, which one would you select?

I personally think Ms Underwood has a much better voice. Ms Swift is a talented songwriter. They're both cute as a button. Tough choice. If I'm gonna hit a concert, I want the entertainer with the most pleasing voice. To me, that's Carrie Underwood.

On the radio sounds great but all the reward shows that I have seen her perform on, she sounds terrible. Carrie Underwood, I have yet to hear her sound bad and she manages to look great in everything she wears.

I just saw Taylor swift perform on the Ellen show and she was lip syncing. I've seen her on other shows live and her voice struggles to sound good.

I change radio stations now whenever one of Taylor's comes on, because they have played them all too much.

Taylor Swift is very good; but a lot of her songs sound the same to me. Maybe when she is more experienced she will have a wider range. :dontknow:

Post by: mommagoes on May 15, 2011, 11:10:01 pm: i would choose carrie underwood, not only because she is a better singer and more my style but also because the chances are good that the crowds at her concert are going to be a little more mature than at a taylor swift concert. then again i am not really a concert person to begin with, have only been to one in my whole life, saw jethro tull in concert in 2000 and while i thought it was amazing, the crazy middle-aged stoners (like my dad who i took to the concert) were a little much. my 2nd concert will be seeing katy perry in august and while its not my kind of scene at all my sister was desperate for someone to go with her so i agreed

Country Fest in Cadott, Wisconsin last year she sucked...bad. Carrie Underwood is awesome and can sing anywhere to anything. She's my fav :)

i thought that taylor swift was also on american idol.... im going to look into this

just looked.. i was wrong... i swear i saw a video of her on youtube auditioning... hmmm must have been someone else

It seems more and more country music is dying and it's just so sad to see. I mean I'm a third generation country music fan and I'm glad somebody like Taylor decided it was time to get a younger generation involved so the music wouldn't die. Personally, I'm not a teen so I don't much care for Taylor Swift and as for Carrie Underwood I really only like her attidude songs like before he cheats otherwise she's one of those 'heard one heard 'em all' type singers. Now Reba...there's a singer. If Carrie makes it as long as Reba then I'll change my tune.
