darn i hate movin! my aunt and i are looking for a new house to lease. there were 3 sharing the rent, now it will just be the two of us soooo, that mean paring down. ugh, we have sooo much stuff, we've leased this house for going on 6 yrs now ...
soooo here's dilema (sp?):
we can lease 3300 sf for $1200/mo or 1750 sf for $1100 mo (maybe $1000). sounds like no brainer, i know ... but there's utilities, etc, owner of ea property is different personality type. first one is toooo much room second is not quite enough ...
factors: we are both on limited incomes $1200 would stretch but ....
WHAT WOULD YOU DO? :BangHead:

1750 square feet is too small for two people? That's 650 square feet more than what my house is, and my wife and I also have two dogs and never had a problem with space.
If it were me in the same exact scenario, I'd go the 1750 sqft route and work hard at getting it for $1000. $100-200 less might not seem much when you can get almost double the size, but if you are on limited incomes, $100-200 can go a long way each month. Not to mention, a larger place will most likely have higher utility costs.
There's also other factors which should be considered like neighbors, location, landlord's track record, etc.

Oh yeah, 1750 sf is big enough for 2 people, it's all the STUFF we have ... some of which will be going away at the garage sale, some of which is precious to either my aunt or i ...
you've made verrrry good points, i like it and hope i get more
