I would have to say Star Trek, because I grew up watching it with my dad when I was young, and the series is much longer than star wars.  :heart:

I'm not a fan of either. I dare say I've never watched Star Wars or Star Trek  :o. Just not my thing.

I like them both, but I would have to say that Star Trek is better. :thumbsup:

I'm a fan of both of them, but I grew up on Star Wars, so I'm a little more partial toward that.  I came to appreciate Star Trek when "The Next Generation" showed up on TV, then caught up on the original series, and movies.

Star Trek. I never liked star wars movies. I always thought that the premise of Star Trek was much better. Star wars was much like a video game today. I did not like the characters in the movie. I think Stephen Speilberg did better with Close Encounters. So, Star Trek it is. I need a transporter room.

if i had to pick i would pick star wars. i dont like star trek.

I enjoy classic Trek,but obviously I'd have to pick Star Wars!

I think the reason I prefer Star Wars to Star Trek is the ideology involved.Star Trek has the outlook that we're a promising species with a barbaric streak a mile wide,but still able to rise above it given time.A noble sentiment to be sure,but Star Wars has the outlook that something out there greater than us exists,The Force that created all things,and if you're attuned enough to receive it,it's power can move mountains.(Similar to faith in God through Jesus Christ)

Star Trek the show on TV was good. Actually like the remake movie of Star Trek better then the others!

I love sci-fi in general but i'd go slightly with star wars just because i really grew up on it.

I love the Star Wars movies and totally believe in the Force.  However Star Trek's philosophies and tech are great.  The idea that we're a young race and can go far if we cooperate is a lesson for today's tough times.

I definitely like both. They each have their own style to them and different story lines and will always be classics

 I have always been way more of a star wars fan, I love all those movies! have not watched much of star trek

It is a tough call between the two.
I love the alliterations to religion in Star Wars ... I think the older ones are much better than the more current ones.
Star Trek movies are more about people dynamics and political statements.
I would have to say I like both equally.

Star Wars defintely. I don't have anything against Star Trek though, I saw some of it when I was younger. But Star Wars was something I really enjoyed, and still do.

Star Wars all the way. When I was a kid, all I was interested in was Star Wars. While Star Trek is okay, there is no comparison.
