-

we work hard for that!
think about it,if you stay at home and do nothing you don't even make 1 cent!!!
people are people!!!ahhhhhhh

I would get my 2 cents back.... Even though I don't think I need it in a way.... but still get it back.... it your money..... in a way... he is rude to treat you that way though.
-
It's YOUR change and due to you, no matter how little it may be. He is not doing his job. Would he have just closed the cash register drawer if your change from $300.00 was $1.00? :bs:
I know some people that click on ptc sites all day long to make a few pennies...Seriously...some of these ptc sites pay .0001 cent per click!

See that would bother me also It doesn't make any difference that your change was only 2 cents it is your change and I would Have just stood there until I got my change A penny saved is a penny earned That employee was not a very good employee I wonder how many other customers he does it to and at the end of the day just pockets the change That is stealing in my book Hope you stood your ground and did get your change
-
Like my Mom used to say "a penny saved is a penny earned.. I would have asked him for my change until he gave it to me..
-
i went today again.he did the same thing to the older lady.
she told him in a nice way,h was trying to avoid her,but she was stronger than him!!!
i guess he treated like that not only me!
i like dunkin donuts, but because of that iwill have to switch for starbucks?????
-
Ask to speak with his manager :bs:. I'm not sayin snitch him out but suggest they hire "friendlier" service... and if that fails find a new DD :P
-
that's excactly what i will do!!!
thanks guys!!!

-
wow! I went to a DD once and paid for some donuts and a lb of ground coffee - I gave a twenty - my change should have been about three bucks - and the guy did the same thing! I was so angry I went back later and spoke to the manager - who was very apologetic - and I got another free lb. of coffee plus my money.
-
since most transactions are by debit/ACH/credit now, perhaps the clerk just can't count change? Odd, but since I pay most local transactions in cash I have noticed the lack of ability to count change has been increasing the last 5 years.
-
oh, and to the above who said this post is worth $0.02. Well, if you make 30 posts in one month and get paid $3.00 for those posts, then each post is worth an average of $0.10. Now since daily emails are worth $0.02 we all know exactly how long it takes to earn $0.02 :-

Wow that was lucky of you that the manager actually believe you in the first place. Some of the place they actually don't believe you. If you leave the store. The said after you left the store that day it's not there responsibility anymore.
-
most of the time i just walk away but i totally understand what your saying
-
If the employee is not doing his job, ask to speak to the manager... you can also tell this 2cent employee about FusionCash so he/she can be a referral for you!
-
2 cents every day for a year add's up to 73 dollars. Thats why we do the daily email right.
-
:BangHead:i know!
-
I'm just in it for the money to fill in that big void called my checking account- I would love to fill that void and have it reach level ground after buying all these baby things. Then, maybe then, I'll go to Dunkin Donuts or get myself a treat.
-
That's quite interesting, I would certainly ask him to give me my change, if change was due.
But I'm also thinking back to when I buy chips, how they are 99cents, and I seem to never get my 1cent back. :
-
7 dollars 30 cents.sorry about that

So he short changed you? I was short changed 10 bucks at Walgreen's but didn't notice till I was a few feet out the door. I went back in and told the lady what she did, she denied it, the manager came out and looked at the tape and guess what, the camera doesn't lie. It showed her keeping my 10 bucks and putting it in the register, I got my 10 bucks back and the lady looked dump for trying to lie to my face.
-
omg!!!REALLY?????
-
This is really disgusting. So in short we cannot trust cashiers and next time I will definetly double check the balance which they are giving me back.
-
omg i would have demanded it from him or have went to the manager or called the cops. they will hand it up then. sorry to hear you were basically robbed.
-
I have noticed that too where people just ignore their change if it is pennies! I look at it like this....Pennies add up to be dollars and nowadays I need all I can get!
-
Even if I see a penny on the ground I pick it up and say thank you or if I drop a penny and dont pick up I announce it is a gift for someone.
I think you will find change on the ground now if you ask.
:angel11:
-
There's an old saying "if you mind the pennies, nickels and dimes, the dollars will mind themselves"
-
i love dunkin donuts.
-
Well, it is 2 cents. But still, they are not allowed to do that.
-
I would say excuse me, my change please...... But I know what you mean, I was at a local store, and the clerk was surprised I wanted my one penny change! I guess alot of people just walk away from there pennies these days. That bothers me! ???
i love dunkin donuts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
I would ask nicely for my change. Remember to say please! 2 cents is 2 cents!!
-
I LOVE MC DONALDS !!  :bunny:
-
i would of made him give me the 2 cents. i have a big german beer stern that i put my pennys and other lose change in and every year we use it for gass on our family vacation every penny counts.

I am definitely not a person that allows a person to short change me or allow me to look like a fool. The next time I buy something from there, I would buy the same thing, except this time, give him 298 pennies and say, "Is that enough pennies for you?" That way, you've given him the EXACT change and he knows you are on to him. He will never short change you again! :bs:
-
i totally agree.Even today i've got arizona green tea at the supermarket.
the guy took one dollar and said:thanks, have a nice day.
Of course i react immediately!!!!
I mean thi is just ridiculous.
i said"my penny,please.
he was frustrated and gave me the enemy look, but he give it back to me.
So i noticed is not only DD
-
Did you give him a tip? Sometimes I throw quarters into their little cups because they are paid so little. Stop whining, it's only 2 cents which should've gone into his tip jar! Give and it will be given back to you!
-
we spent a lot of time to get 2 cents clicking...
so please don't tell me is ONLY two cents.NOt for me is not!
he should give me my change, that's what this post is about!
GREETINGS!!!!!!!!!!!! :cat:
-
No this post is about voicing your opinion, don't get it twisted!!! ::)If you gave a little more you wouldn't be worried about two cents: Just my opinion!
-
you're right!
you know, the problem is that that kind of thing happens all the time lately...
that's why i realized i should write about it:)
-
I had that happen one day not at dunkin' but somewhere else, I said would you mind if I get my change, I know its only pennies but my granddaughter likes to save them. I felt bad because that isn't really true, and it made me mad that I felt like I had to give an excuse for wanting my change regardless of the amount.
-
I earn the pennies because at the end of the year I bring them to the bank and change them into 20's and its such a waste jst throwing your pennies when you can earn it and exchange it at the end of the year
-
I would ask nicely for my change back...
-
I like their coffee coolatta
-
i love how people say "it's only 2 cents" or "maybe he needed it more than you" it doesn't matter how much it was it was or how much he needed it it wasn't his money to keep. even 2 cents adds up over time.
-
that's it! ;D
-
It's YOUR change and due to you, no matter how little it may be. He is not doing his job. Would he have just closed the cash register drawer if your change from $300.00 was $1.00? :bs:

I am a newbie and saw the amount you have earned. I was shocked. As I said, I'm new so maybe you're not even the highest. But it made me want to do more. And I have a silly question maybe. What is PTC and are they worth it I've never heard of this before. I have recently lost my job and my engine blew on my car. So, any pennies I GET I WANT! lol
-
I would have to say, "Excuse me, you didn't give me my change. Be it 2 cents or 2 dollars, it is mine and you have no right to take it. I work too hard for my money." Then I'd report it to management.
-
If he were to keep ignoring me I would have asked for the manager and talked it over with him.
-
I got 2 doughnuts at the STL airport Southwest place for $1.84 :)
i went to dunkin donuts the other day & pay almost 3 bucks for iced tea with lemon.
i gave the guy 3 single dollars and he didn't give me 2 cents he owed me.
i was in shock!!!so i told him !

-
THAT IS SO MEAN ...HOW THEY CAN DO THIS? I AM SHOCKED TOO :o
-
in the case of vanishing pennies.just like you gave them your money they had their hand out right.hold your hand out for your change ???
-
:bootyshake:
-
lmao :dontknow:
-
I would ask for the change they owe me! Pennies add up!
-
LOL...that's funny, I had a similar situation with an auto repair place. The bill was for $95 dollars and I gave the attendant a $100 bill, he looked at me as if I insulted him when I asked for my $5...lol
-
i like doughnuts but i think i will stick to my hambergurs instead lol big fat juicy burgers
-
juicy lucy
i like doughnuts but i think i will stick to my hambergurs instead lol big fat juicy burgers
-
:sad1: wow! everything is going up
-
Sounds rude to me. :bs: I don't think DD would be very happy to find out about it.
-
A donut sounds good. yummy.
-
next time I would make sure i went in with EXACT CHANGE!! lol
-
dunkin donuts all day
-
Any of you going to eat donut for this weekend? I'm heading there.
-
I already addressed the change issue but donut wise I'd like to say that Krispie Kreme are the best. We have to drive to the next town over but would do that any day for a Krispie Kreme versus a Dunkin' Donuts which I don't find to be very fresh or good most of the time. We have one close by us but rarely get desperate enough to go there for donuts. We also have an independent donut shop in town which has excellent donuts but if you don't get there early you are out of luck and they are only open 1/2 day. Alas!
-
i think i like KRISPY KREME better than DD ,too...haven"t eat them for a while...
i think glazedone wih cup of coffe couldn"t hurt that much...
and i have to have EXACT money
-
I know that most fast food places have a toll free number or email address on the back of the receipt. I would have reported the cashier and I bet I would have gotten a voucher for free donuts and coffee. :)
-
I'll add my 2 cents (pun intended)...He probably thought you wouldn't mind cause it's only 2 cents, but he suppose to give you your change no matter how small.
-
ONLY 2 cents ! STILL MY MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :BangHead:
-
thye have the best doughnuts
-
Wow thats messed up I dont understand why people would not gave correct change. I use to be a cashier and never took change from the customers.
-
well see it shows what kind of people are around us.i feel bad that every time we need to ask for a change...it happens more often now and is not only in DD :(
-
Wow!!!!!!!!!!! Three dollars for an iced tea? You should have taken a sip and gave it back. Then asked for your money. LOL
-
Now if that were me, I would probably complain until the manager or someone came out. I have done it in the past. Although it was not for .2C, someone had made a mistake in a grocery store for a $1 return of change and the cashier made it look like it was my error. I told them I was not moving out of line until I have seen a supervisor. It doesn't matter if it is .2C or 20$, if they are not competent enough to be running a cash register, they shouldn't be. Now a days it tells you what change to give back anyway!!!
-
i would have reported the casher and supervier
-
everyone keeps saying its only 2 cents...seems like its not so much the amount of money that was the issue, as it was the way she was treated? if you dont stand up for yourself these days, people will walk all over you, and whos to say next time she went in, he wouldnt try it for a much larger amount..knowing he could get away with it?
-
You can go on to the dunkin donuts website to put in a complaint.
-
pennys can add up, and you know the federal govt pays 10c to make a penny, go figure :dontknow:
-
Normally I let pennies go, but I they add up so fast...
I cant post the link but there was a guy that saved up 13,000 dollars just by collecting pennies.
-
thye have the best doughnuts
I know... I love to go there for donuts when I have time. And want some donuts though.
-
I probably would not do anything but it would aggrevate me for sure!!! I would atleast want him to have put it in a change dish for someone else to use if they needed it lol
