Title: Opinion Square Offer - Recommended!
Post by: rbudovec1947 on July 09, 2011, 04:53:29 am
I just successfully signed up for the Opinion Square offer and was approved for $1.25! This is a free offer and I was instantly credited once I signed up and completed the first survey sent to my e-mail. This offer does not require a phone number. I steer clear of offers that do.

I consider this to be a safe offer, but you must be willing to allow Opinion Square to install their software so that they can track your browsing history anonymously and send you surveys will be a better fit for you. Seems reasonable to me, but you'll have to decide for yourself if you feel comfortable doing this. I have Windows 7 and the software installed smoothly and safely. No incompatibility issues or crashes.

The tricky part is getting to the initial screen to sign up and doing a little fine-tuning on Tools/ Internet Options/ Browsing History. Read their FAQs concerning the second part and make the changes recommended if necessary. I had to change one minor setting under the Browser History Category before I could proceed.

I had no luck using Mozilla Firefox, the browser I usually use for FusionCash. After reading their FAQs, I discovered that Opinion Square works best on Internet Explorer, so I logged into FusionCash from there and clicked on the Opinion Square offer. After that, signing up was a breeze and the first survey was easy to complete.

If you're patient and are able to follow the above tutorial, it's a quick $1.25. The surveys give you points that will eventually translate into nice rewards, so I intend to become a regular on this site. Any feedback from members is welcomed and appreciated.   ;D

I do not feel comfortable installing a software that will randomly track my browsing history. It could track my personal emails, it could track when I'm logged into my bank account or anything else personal or with my personal information on my computer   :confused1:

I'm extremely careful to whom I allow access to my browsing history too. I carefully read their Privacy Policy before I signed up so that I understood exactly what they were tracking. You can read that before you sign up. It's all done anonymously from their end, so they don't know who you are. They do not track your personal e-mails and cannot access your private banking information. All they can track is the name of your bank, and many surveys that I've done on FC ask for that information.

It's up to you, though. If you aren't comfortable after reading their Privacy policy and FAQs, then don't sign up. My gut feeling was that this is a legit site. Each of us has to decide which offers we trust and which ones we don't. By all means, use your own judgment. For me, personally, this was an easy $1.25 in offers and I read all the Terms, etc, before I went ahead with it. It's going to help me toward my July cash out and that's a good thing, isn't it?  :peace:

Any money towards helping us cash out is a good thing

I see you said they track the name of your bank, I'm curious what surveys or offers you do on here that asks for the name of your bank. I've never come across one like that only ones that ask for my household income.

I've done a few surveys specifically about banking that have asked me to choose the name of my banking institution from a list. I have no problem with that. It's usually for market research. However, if you're asked for any personal banking information, stay away!

Exactly right. That $1.25 helped me hit the necessary $15 minimum in offers toward my next cash out and that is a very good thing. The one caution I would add about downloading any software necessary to complete some of these offers is to run your anti-virus/anti-spyware program afterward as a precaution. Do a complete scan. You want to be sure your computer is secure!
