I don't like the NY Yankees or Derek Jeter!! but I am a baseball fan and 3000 hits is special
-
Well I am not a sports fan, but being from NY, that is an awesome accomplishment. I like Derek Jeter. Way to go Jeter.
-
Go Jeter!! He did it with style, too!!! He's the man!
-
who cares........my boy Pete Rose got 4,256 hits

Sorry to be a downer but 3000 hits is no excuse for not making an appearance at the All-star game nor is it record any where close to what Hank Aaron or Babe Ruth did. These two player had the time to honor their fans and knew who it was that put them on the diamond. Pampered, million-dollar babies like Derek Jeter, Randy Moss, Michael Vick and Le Bron James can be proud of what they have done on the field/court but should be ashamed of their behavior out of the sports spotlight. I have avoided baseball since the last baseball strike because the players turned their backs on the fans. Football is getting close to losing my attention but I think that the owners are to blame.
