Title: Whats the Best animated Series American Dad or Family Guy?

i like them both but i would have to say American Dad i mean i like Family Guy but sometimes i want to just punch peter in the gut lol.

I love to watch Family Guy. I have every volume on DVD. Evil Stewie is so funny. Peter is funny too but not to smart. Bird Bird Bird Bird is the word!! LOL One of the funniest episodes ever. I watch 3 hours of Family Guy on TBS every Monday night.

This is a hard one because i like both of them but if i had to choose it would be Family Guy

ive never seen american dad. ive watched family guy once and it was about killing a baby or something like that and it was right after i had a stillbirth. needless to say, i hate that show.

I used to occasionally watch Family Guy, but I'm a military veteran, and I was disgusted after hearing about a particular episode aired on either Memorial or Veteran's Day. Now I will never watch it again.

I prefer Family Guy.  I don't know what it is but there is just something about it that strikes a chord with my humor.

Family Guy is funny...I will give it that. But I hate Peter with a passion. American Dad is funny but cool. I love the way he treats the daughter. She's deserving of it, where as Meg in Family Guy is not. Brian and Stuie are really what carry Family Guy.

Thanks for the replies i agree with you all on somedays i can watch it but i really hate family guy to me its racist,judgemental , sexies, perverted but funny all rolled into one but i hate it makes me want to kick seth butt. for creating this

I watch both for the most part, but think that Family Guy is the better of the twp.

Neither.  I love King of the Hill.  I love that show.  It never gets old.

both are similar, but i think family guy is a bit better

American Dad uses humor that u have to think about a lil bit and I like the whole show and the characters a lot better than family guy. family guy annoys the hell outta me after about 5 minutes, and I;ve seen all the episodes , but I like American Dad a lot better and u should to.

Family Guy is my favorite between them, but the old Family Guy's are better.

Family Guy by far, they really had their peak towards the middle, hopefully it goes back up. Maybe they should do a spin off w/just Stewie and Brian - I'd watch it :wave:
