Newspaper subscriptions are way down from years past and eventually newspapers and comic strips within will be lost to the past. That's too bad, because I look forward to the Sunday comics every week. My favorite comic strip is Calvin and Hobbes; it's no longer in print, but it was awesome. :cat: I have several of the Calvin and Hobbes collection books and wish new comics were still coming out. Tied for second is Peanuts and The Far Side; apples and oranges, hard to choose.

I was a big fan of Beetle Bailey, but they took this from my local newspaper quite a number of years ago. At the moment I would say Dilbert and Foxtrot are pretty interesting.

I was alway partial to Marmaduke and Peanuts. My local paper doesn't have comics. The big city paper does, but I don't subscribe. If I get a hold of a copy I make sure to read the comics. We need more laughter in the world. :(

What a great question. Calvin and Hobbes and the Far Side are tops. Now I read Dilbert for that same kind of off beat humor and look at the world. Pogo used to be one of my favorites as well. ;D
