Do all cell related offers charge you extra when you receive the text? I would like to know because i am interested in doing them. Thanks
-
i think some do, but most state the regular texting fees apply. in other words, you're good as long as you have unlimited texts lol
-
That's what i was thinking but i did one, and I was charged 6 dollars for 2 messages :( I lost money on the offer
-
Yeah I wouldn't trust the mobile offers. At least read all the small print first!
-
they might keep texting you
-
Ya, unfortunatley they did until i texted stop, and also I read the small print afterwards...

Be careful when you text STOP. Once you do that, it's considered a reply and they can charge you minimally once for that month. My cell phone provider told me not to text STOP, just don't do anything and make sure you let your cell phone company know that you do not want 3rd party charges from text subscriptions.

Regular texting fees as provided by your carrier apply. If you have an unlimited text plan or a high number text message plan on your phone, then you'll be fine if you join one of the cell phone sites.

always a good idea to read the fine print on any of the surveys or offers on here before you do them. not that i believe FC would try to cheat us on purpose but you never know with the ones that send the offers to them!
-
Yes you have to watch out for those ones that require your cell phone. On this other site I completed a offer than relized they charged my phone $9.99 and you have to cancell it if you don't want to be charged. But you have to keep it if you want the credit so I don't do those ones.

So what you are saying is that if I call my provider and say that I dont want to be charged I can do these offers without being charged? I have unlimited texting and was charged by the first one I did so if your right I'll try and call to ask them.

You should really stay away from those offers.
They can either cost you a fortune.
Read the fine print because it can turn into a total nightmare with dropping out of the offer.

Always read the fine print. eventhough the pay out for that offer looks good, it may cost you more money out of pocket.
