Title: Do you like long or short hair?

Myself it depend's on the mood I'm in and the season. In the winter I keep my hair a little bit longer and in summer I alway's have a bob cut. My son alway's keep's his short, he has a lot of wave in his hair, so he keep's it short. :wave:

I tend to keep my hair somewhat long for a male, but I do buzz cut it twice a year, once before Christmas and once in the summer.

i love long hair. but it gets irritating in the summer.

On myself, I personally like long.  I guess I just think I don't look good with short hair.  A lot of women can pull of the short hair looks.  On guys, definitely short..

I like long hair o me..but ome people look very good with short hair..It just depends.

I like long hair year round. I think it better suits my personality and I just like it.

I've had my hair real long most of my life.  My mom used to keep it short and curled when I was young, but then I grew it out and it went down to my hips.  One summer she nagged me about how hot I looked so by the end of summer I was hot and let it be cut.  I grew it again until I had a production job and was the only female.  I cut it so they'd see me as a co-worker instead of a female co-worker.  I've let it grow since then, but now it only reaches my waist.  It's brown and wavy with strands of gray.

I've always wanted hair like Cher: super long, straight and jet black.  Don't know if it'd look right on me, but I've always wanted it.

I've always liked longer hair on guys too.  The hair bands of the 70's and 80's were cool.  :thumbsup:

Alot of people say that short is so much easier...  but nothing is easier than a french braid & stays nice all day!   ;)

I like both long and short hair, but on me...I prefer shoulder length or long hair, cause I cut my hair really short one time and it didn't suit me...Now, Halle Berry has the most fabulous short styles I've seen. She looks really pretty with short hair, but when she grows it out long it makes her look plan and not as attractive.

I have had long dreads and short hair cuts it depends on the weather and the look I am feeling most comfortable with at that time.

Right now, I have long hair. I'm growing it out again so that I can cut it off and donate it to locks of love. I had it cut off last year. It was so short that it was to my jaw line. Now, I probably  need only a few more inches. I think my hair grew faster due to having a baby and taking prenatal vitamins. Maybe I'll cut it off again before the year is over.

I prefer short hair but my husband likes it long. We agreed on shoulder length and the shortest I can go is chin length. He however gets to buzz cut his hair. Bummer!  :crybaby2:

I've never had long hair. I like to fantasize of having long locks (I apparently have a different face too during my imagination), but I don't think I have the devotion to maintain long hair either. On other people I'm particularly attracted to longer hair.

I like my hair at least long enough to wear in a ponytail.  Currently I've been on a long kick.  But I'm a lot like the others that it also depends on my mood!

My hair gets curly and hard to manage when it gets a little longer so I have decided that I want to keep it shorter.  And I can cut my own hair for free with a clipper!

I have had both long and shorter (shoulder length) hair. I usually grow it out and cut in shorter in the summer. I did grow it long for about 4 years and cut it short. Now I am growing it long again...decided I like it long for now

I personally have pretty "modern" hair, I get told quite often my hair looks like Justin Bieber....  :sad1: but i had my longer hair before he did! lol

I typically prefer short hair because you stay cool in the heat and it is light on your head.

I love long hair on women and think that men, in certain scenarios, look better with long hair.I like wearing my hair longer but it requires more work and hair product as well as being much warmer during the summer months when it is already sweltering.  I work in an office and am unable to wear my hair lon for the time being...people seem to judge men with long hair. I think that women are judged as more feminine when they wear their hair longer.

I have always love long hair because it suits me and there is so much you can do with it (for example wear different types of curls). Short hair does't look all that good on me, and it is not for me.

i love long hair the way it looks, i have long hair i do want to cut it at least to medium length but my husbands loves my hair. The down fall i have is that i hate to curl it so much because it burns and in the summer its so hot i always wear it up so i wonder why have long hair if i am always going to wear it up in a clip.

My hair has been long the majority of my life.  I tried in 2008 to have short hair but I looked like an old man to myself lol.  I started back growing it and now it is back to my waist.  I am 58 years old and I'm sure some people think I shouldn't have short hair but I say live and let live and let others make their own decisions.  I may let it grow down to the ground lol who knows. I see alot of people with short hair that look very cute, just didn't seem like me and my face is very round and chubby so I don't think it looked good.  I also like long hair on men, I guess because I grew up in "HIPPIE" days lol.

I love long hair but my hair is so thin it doesn't look good unless it's cut short.  I love long hair on children but for the last three summers in a row we've had an outbreak of head lice.  Is it in the rest of the country or just in the upper Midwest?

My hair gets much more difficult to manage if it gets past a certain length so I usually don't let it grow beyond the top of my shoulders. Maybe an inch below. I also don't want it too short where I'll have difficulty doing anything decent with it.  :sad1:

I don't think long hair looks good on a guy.(Unless you're in a metal band,then you get a free pass,natch. ;))

Long hair looks great on women, especially when they have that sexy spiral perm. Seems to me that blondes are becoming less and less. Women with long dark hair, either black or brown is in style!!

On me, long hair. My face is too full to try and pull of short hair. On guys, I'm not picky... as long as their hair isn't as long as mine, we're good.
