i really love to clean but i hate a couple of chores like cleaning the bath tub or mopping the floors the rest of it i can do with no problems and since i have been cleaning house since i was 5 years old i do it out of habit i love my house being clean

I have to clean my house everyday, even if it 'clean.

I used to clean more before I started having problems with my back and legs. But I have never been one to take any extra time to clean.

i like to clean just really dont like doing dishes lol but i do it :)

Cleaning is just something that has to be done but I love my house when it is clean. Sorting old junk is the worst.

it seems to never end, although it's kinda fun
to find stuff you forget you even have...
i DO like to clean, mostly because i feel like i can
relax better in a clean house. i'm a cluttery person
and no matter what i do, i can't seem to break
myself of the clutter habit. so, the more often
i clean, the better i feel about it :thumbsup:

I've always been a clean freak, and it's just something that I have to do. It drives me crazy if my house is a mess. I have a 2 year old and 4 month old, so it is very hard to keep up with it sometimes. Now I'm cleaning apartments part time as well, so I don't get around to cleaning as much as I used to, but I still have to do some cleaning each day. I agree that dishes are my least favorite job especially with 2 little guys. They seem to pile up very quickly. Cleaning is quite time consuming for me, and I feel like after I get the house totally spotless, 2 days later it will be back to the same if I don't keep up on it as I go.

I don't mind cleaning my place because I don't wanna be lazy all the time. I enjoy cleaning my bathroom and kitchen floors with my Swiffer Wet Jet. Now, I just need something to clean the dust off of my window blinds.

I hate cleaning but once it is done, it was worth it. The fresh smell & seeing things nice & shiney & organized makes my day. ;)

I don't exactly like to clean, but I like things to be clean. Boy I sure do get tired of cleaning EVERYTHING, ALL the time. It'd be nice if other people would clean for a change and do it properly. I definitely don't enjoy cleaning up after everyone, especially when not one of them are incapable of doing it themselves. Really irks me that people can be so sloppy & so lazy to not even clean up after themselves, or clean as they go. :BangHead:

I'M NOT CRAZY ABOUT CLEANING BUT I DON'T LIKE MESSES IN MY HOUSE, I'M NEAT BUT NOT A CLEANING FANATIC, I DO JUST ENOUGH TO MAKE MY HOUSE PRESENTABLE.

Only clean when it's messy and sometimes I don't clean at all and pay other people to do it for me.

I have gotten so busy with work that I have had to hire a service to come in and clean the house.
I liked doing it, but there was not enough time in a day to clean this huge place without any help, plus not being around much and all the traveling for work.
I would back in the day in a smaller place cleaned constantly almost to the point you could say it was an OCD.

I don't think many people have a true passion for cleaning, but rather a sense of urgency to have something clean, i.e, graduation party, wedding ,etc.

I clean my house on an everyday basis... sometimes I even clean a few times a day. I think I'm a clean freek... like i said on one of my previous posts " I'm addicted to fabuloso".

I actually enjoy cleaning. More than I thought I would when I was growing up. I am no neat freak but I like things picked up and in there place and clean. Only things I do not like is the constant cleaning of spilled food and drinks that get left there till I see it and cleaning the toilet, I can not stand. I love to vacume though.

I dislike cleaning. I have really bad knees and cannot stand for a long time, so my cleaning is at a minimum.

I will tell you right now, I do not like to clean whatsoever! I do it, but don't like it. With kids in the house I find it a waste of time. I feel like I am picking up the same stuff everyday. Ironically, I work for a cleaning company part time, 3 nights a week.

I like clean,but I don't want to do it, only when it is dirty and messy, I clean.I had a baby, he follows me all the time.

I like having a clean house. I just can't seem to keep it clean for very long. I have a 4 and 5 year old and I'm a single mom. I do pick up each night but the only time my house seems to get clean is when the kids are with their dad on his weekends.

I need a maid. I hate cleaning on a regular basis. I do like a clean house but I hate the work.

I can't stand cleaning but i also hate when things are dirty. So it sucks for me cause i want everything clean but hate it.

It is the actually parting with stuff that is hard I think. I make myslef do it though the Flylady way 17 things in the bag no looking!

I like to clean sometimes and other times I don't. When I don't clean I get to the point where I stay away from the rest of the house and stay in my room. Then I get in the mood to clean I stay up all night and clean and than I feel so much better and my house looks so much better but just getting in the mood to do it is my problem. I look and I say I am not doing all this by myself. To be honest my husband does the cleaning but he doesn't get the bathroom the way I like it and when he washes cloths he just piles them up after they dry and I have to go through it all and I hate that so I try to keep it up so that he doesn't do the laundry. LOL :)

I can't stand a dirty house, so I am constantly cleaning. I am fine with any of the work but I have trouble with my foot really bad so I can't clean as much as I would like. I have twin grandsons living with me so it is hard to it is hard to keep clean.

I would find cleaning more enjoyable if I knew it wasn't going to look like I did nothing the next day :angry7: can't seem break the habit

To me the benefits that come out of cleaning is that you won't be lazy.

i dont mind cleanng but by the end of the day it looks like i did nothing i havetwo kids and when they come into a room a tornado follows them

I had to go through the same thing when my little cousins would come over to my house but I set some ground rules that they don't cross now. :)

actually i LOVE to clean! it might sound crazy but i find it very relaxing. i out on my music and just clean my troubles away!! i have small children running around all day and onc they go to bed for the night thats when i like to clean, its time to myself to just think and relax!

I love a clean house. My family is the same way. My mother is a hoarder and I have to clean her house as well. I am getting sick of keeping my house and her house . I do not like a dirty house. I am glad to see that other feel the same.

cleaning is ok. It would be easier if we could all afford a maid service. I clean a lot because I have a little one crawling around the floors. I can't make excuses to not clean. I love to do laundry because me and my husband just bought a brand new washer and dryer I LOVE THEM!!!

sometimes i get in the mood to clean and enjoy it!! i can be a clean freack but right now i am 31 weeks pergo and i am just to tried to clean alot at a time and i have 2 other kids at home so it seems like everytime i get something clean they mess it up b4 i get the other parts of the house clean!!!!! noh how i cant wait to have more energy. :BangHead: ::) :-

I consider myself to be a clean-freak, lol! However, my 12 y/o daughter and 5 y/o son make it nearly impossible to have a clean house (the way I like it cleaned) - Organizing is my favorite thing to do hands down! Doing the dishes doesn't bother me because we have a strict system in place; you have to wash your own dish the minute your done using it, then dry it and put it away exactly where it goes that even goes for pots and pans used - after cooking we immediately transfer the food and wash all the pans, utensils...Yes I'm obsessive..lol

I clean because if i didn't it wouldn't get done.. but i'm a stay at home mom.. so do i like to clean.. well it keeps me busy during the day... i don't mind vacuuming or doing laundry.. but other than that.. i would rather go back to work full time.. :D

Cleaning is just something that has to be done to not live like a pig....not my favorite but will do it!!
