Title: do you get charged by your provider for offers for ringtones or other services?
Post by: abigness on September 19, 2007, 06:39:21 pm
When an offer asks for you to provide a phone number for ringtones, text message jokes sent to your cell phone, or other cell phone services, does your cell phone provider charge you for these types of services, even if you do not provide a credit card number on the offer website? Thanks everyone!

yes, i do believe that they charge a fee to your cell phone. If there is a will, then there is a way for them to get paid...I KNOW THAT SUCKS RIGHT?  ::)

abigness,
In most cases, yes. This can usually be figured out by reading their Terms of Service.
