So...he has like a 33 game hitting streak right now...pretty impressive considering his past.....how far do you think he'll go? you surprised? thoughts?

I've never heard of him until this streak.  He won't be breaking any records, but it will be interesting to see how close he gets.

I find it amazing that a guy that's hitting around .220 has a 33 game hit streak! Something about this picture just doesn't add up? Pretty sure if I was the opposing skipper he wouldn't see a fastball one to hit the entire game, maybe the entire series...  ;)

I am an Atlanta Braves fan. When Dan Uggla played for the Florida Marlins he seemed to beat the Braves with timely hits. At first I was excited when the Braves got him but I must admit I was thinking he was a bust the first half of the year. That is why his batting average is so low is that except for his home runs he was not productive. Hitting a baseball is a game of adjustments. He must have found that one small thing that allows him to connect on a regular basis. When I read Joe Dimagio's life story I found out he had a few lucky hits too. So this streak is part skill and part luck. But it is FUN to watch. ;D

being a braves fan it sucked when the streak ended but i knew it wouldn't last much longer. it's hard to get to 56. I still say cal ripkens record will never be broken. This one may one day.
