I wish i could win the lotto would be so nice don't have to be a millionare just enough to pay off both mortgages, 3 cars, travel and give a little money away to family. That would be so nice be debt free....hmmmmm what a dream.

Believe me, we all wish we could win, but its all a big gimmick, well not a gimmick, but something none of us will probably ever win. Although it is fun just to day dream about what we could do with that money. :icon_rr:

Sometimes it's good if you have an extra buck or so to indulge yourself. I don't think it's good when people take their food money or rent money and use it for the lottery.

why do u have 2 mortgages and 3 cars? u dont need all that. this is why u are always broke. u dont need to win the lottery.. u just need to sell at least 1 car, rent your other house so u can pay the mortgage on it. thats the only way u will be able to afford all the luxuries u have!@! i am a poor a$$ just making it in this world and u think u have it bad coz u have 3 cars and 2 houses to pay for. try having less then that and still not being able to pay for what u have coz u cant find a job or if u do find one they can u because they went with someone else or they dont need u anymore!! or try being on unemployment for 7+ months and being stuck at home with no money to fill the gas tank and no money to have fun! we're barely making our rent and our landlord is an :bootyshake:. life isnt fair, but maybe if u didnt buy so much and actually make a monthly budget then u would have money to afford those luxuries u have! we have to do jobs on the side and a lot of them to make it. its so hard and we're on the verge of losing everything.. yeah sounds like ur not even near the edge!

I think in this economy everyone is hoping they can win the lottery. I personally can attest to that with all the school debt I'm in. I haven't even graduated yet and I have more than fifty thousand dollars in debt. It's ridiculous how you try to start your life and are put ten steps back.

yeah when we try to get a head..somehow we get kicked in the a$$ and we're always broke.

Sounds like you've made some bad choices when it comes to money. Why do you have multiple mortages and 3 cars?!
You don't need to be rich to live well. It's very, very unlikely that you will ever win the lottery...just be smart with your money!!!

i know lots of people don't believe in winning the lottery, i had doubts too until my grandfather won it....twice. so for those who don't believe... u gotta be in it to win it!

I would love to win the lotto also! But everything happens for a reason, and it may not happen when u want it to but it'll happpen when its supposed to. My man just won $1000 on a $5 scratch off the other day. And it was great timing. "May not come when you call, but I'm always on time" Such a true staement :heart:

Anyway, as far as the lottery goes, I think it's a waste of money. Your chances of winning something big are so infinitesimally small that you're better off investing in something with a better chance of payoff.

A friend of mine told me years ago to NEVER envy ANYONE who owns all that you do. he said chances are they are in debt up to their A$$ and struggling which sounds like your case...I would love to win the lotto to but only to live comfortably and not go all out...heck ya cant bring material things with you to the grave so why put yourself in such debt in the first place...I dont get why people feel the need to live like the Jones's...just my thoughts

It's important to plan to invest it in the future after paying off all debts. But, it's also important to spend some on pleasure. However, I've heard that all too often people don't plan, they lose track of how they are spending it, spend too much on stuff they don't really need, and end up dissatisfied in the end. So, if you do get a lot of money all at once, take your time to figure out how it will be spent and spend it wisely.

Someone not too far from me just won a huge one. They look pretty down to earth.

There is a woman that goes up to the corner store from me and plays the lotto and scratch tickets, she hit it for a million a couple years back. and wouldnt you know it a year later she hit it for another million is that luck or is that luck

What I was saying, of course, is what a lot of people do. I'm sure not everyone does it.
THat's some pretty good luck, winning the lotto twice!
