on the main sign up page the site boasts:
"$2,081,792.59 in rewards paid (an average of $70.27 per person) Over 2 million members have joined since we opened in June 2005"
well if the average is $70.27 per person then that means only around 29,625 people out of over 2million have ever actualy gotten paid.. thats umm... very low between 1% - 2% of people who sign up for fusion cash have ever cashed out... WOW
and if your doubting me in this, you can see the #s for yourself on the fusioncash signup page, and do simple math with a calculator.. $70.27 per person, out of $2,081,792.59 = 29,625ish (2,081,792.59 divided by 70.27 = 29,625ish)
then 29,625 out of 2,000,000 = 1.4% (29,625 divided by 2,000,000= 0.014)
Just thought this was pretty crazy numbers, especialy since there andvertising that! anyone who took the time to think about it would be very discouraged by those stats, although I am not complaining, seeing as how im ready to cash out whenever I want and will become one of the under 2% to do so!

I suspect that the retention rate for new members is a lot higher than what it was originally.
I joined on 2007, was away for a while, but came back when I found out about the $3.00 Forum posting bonus and all the other goodies where you could make a little money without doing offers.

I think that you have figure that a lot of people sign up and don't go with it after because life gets in the way or they just forget about it. I know when I started I didn't have a plan I didn't really get into until a liffle later. So I think it is like everything else some people can take the time orthers don't

i was in no way implying anything negative about FC, i was just wowed at how many people sign up then never complete through to a cash out. i mean around 98%! :o thats crazy.. i figure its because alot of people sign up then dont understand and get discouraged n quit, or were refered by someone and never really had the intention of doing it n were just helping a friend out, or they signed up for the site for another paying website (much like alot of offers on here have us do) and ect ect.
i am eligable to cash out already but am waiting to hit $40 first, then i will join the few who actually stick with it!

I don't think people actuallly broke it down like you have so they really don't know. Some people are looking for quick cash and like I was told this isn't quick but you do make money you just have to keep it up. People just don't want to spend the time to do this for the money. They are looking for get rich and I am telling you if you come across website that says that I turn away becuase that isn't possible. You have to win the lottery or something for that. I am not close to cashing out yet but I hav only been hear for a short time but I like talking to people on here to so I stay. I remember reading on here where this person just likes posting really doesnt try to make a bunch on money.

I joined out of curiousity. The payments were just extra perk blessings.

Last year when I signed up I thought it was really weird that the username I wanted to use "CeCeLuvzU" was taken as it is not something everyone jumps to use and I tried to sort it out but finally gave up and just decided on a different name. Anyway, turns out that I did sign up, years and years back - probably thought it was a scam to be honest. Anyway people could have similar situations as mine.

I would think that in the early years a lot of people who joined were looking to get rich quick, realized FC wasnt going to do that for them, and left. I can imagine that there are a lot more 1 time offers for new members now then back then as well. I was ready to cash out within 5 days of joining because of all the 1 time offers. I'm sure there are still people coming here thinking it will make them rich fast, then leave..
-
...not to mention most of those stats are ppl that were refered to this site making all the others cash ;)
-
People are LAZY! Everyone is looking for a "get rich quick" deal, and that's not usually gunna happen. I'm sure there are a lot of people that sign up and realize they actually have to do a few things to start earning money....and they lose interest. Too many people these days feel they are "owed". Kinda sad, really.
-
I'm not surprised that many people sign up, but never follow through. It takes time and effort (though minimal) to make money here and it isn't necessarily the riches people are looking to make overnight. Therefore, they wander onto something else. If the average lifetime earnings here is $70.27, I've already doubled that...very cool!
-
i think the majority of people that sign up are looking to see if it's easy cash...or have googled the work at home thing (actually how i found fc). then realize it is a tiny bit of work and it scares them off. or they think 25 a month isnt worth it, but these days...that's ALMOST a half of a tank of gas for free :)
-
That is why you often see the stat that says 95% of people who try to earn money online will fail. It isn't that it can't be done, it is that most people don't have the patience and belief that it can happen. People who stick with program like this are few and far between. I have never really understood that because I am not a super determined person that never ever gives up, but to me, this is so easy, why would I not want to make a little extra money while I watch TV? I combine this with other sites and make extra cash. If I am going to be a couch potato, I might as well make some money doing it.

haha thats a good motto.
-
if you could get paid for watching ads on tv that would be cool

if you could get paid for watching ads on tv that would be cool
That would be cool, but if they paid us for watching the ads, there would be no TV shows to watch because they pay TV stations/shows to get us to watch the ads, so that would be cutting out the middle man, in this case actual TV shows, lol

wow interesting stats!
oh well, i am here to stay for a long run heheheh
Thanks FC!

I think a lot of people sign up, and then get discouraged by how long it takes to make cash out. You have to put the time in if you want to make more than $ 25.00 per month. It's definetly not a get rich quick sort of thing, but it is easy to do and nice to have a little extra money in your pocket! :peace:
