idk and idc as long as i can get my drink XD
-
well i wouldnt say they taste different but yeah some actually do now that i think about it. some have a metal taste and some dont.
-
i think bottled waters do have slightly different
tastes, probably due to whatever the water is stored
in before it's dispensed into the bottles during
processing...
probably large metal or glass tanks? also, how long
the water has been sitting on the shelf might have
something to do with the taste, too. such as a "stale"
taste.
the actual plastic of the bottles breaks down INTO the water
also. ever leave a bottle of water in the heat in your car,
then take a swig? mmm, burnt plastic!

I really think that some of the water does taste differently. But I don't know if there is all that much different. I know some of them do have different taste. But I don't find that any of them taste badly.
-
i dont think theres any difference
-
I dont like arrowhead!!
-
I prefer tap water...that bottled tap water they sell (yes, it is just tap water) is highway robbery...and bad for the environment. I only drink bottled water when I travel.
-
Water does have a taste. I don't like water because I prefer to drink flavored things but I know I need to drink more. We got a Brita pitcher months ago and I love it. I can definitely tell a difference in the taste of the water since using it. It tastes a lot better than tap water. We used to buy a lot of bottled water but I really couldn't tell the difference with the brands. Some bottled water is nothing more than tap water anyway.
-
I prefer Ice Mountain.
-
That is a very interesting observation. I have tasted several brands and they do taste different. Some of them taste more like sea water than spring water. Some I suspect have added chlorine because I can taste it or maybe it's fluorine. I do taste differences but I have settled on Poland Spring and there is another one I like called Nirvana. I also like the Perrier sparkling water and I love Pelligrino especially with lime.

Yes water has no taste. if the water tastes that means there is something mixed into the water. the well water i have has a lot of calcium and iron.
Dasian (spelling) just doesnt taste right to me. other than that i havent had any problems with any other bottled water.
-
no i think ny water taste better
-
I simply filter my tap water with a Brita and it taste GREAT!!!
-
NO----They don't all taste the same. Deer Park is slimey----It is NASTY!!!
-
Don't drink bottled water unless I have to. I beg to differ but water does have a taste. Esp. if it is city water that has chemicals in it to clean it. I also am not convinced that bottled water is any better for you. If I have to drink bottled water I would prefer Dasani. I wish I could have the well water that I grew up with. That was the best tasting water.
-
Now everyone has thinking twice about bottled water.
-
The chemical known to us as water (H2O) is considered tasteless... However, water is an excellent solvent, esp. for ions like metals, and so what we usually drink is not pure water. It is actually very difficult (in terms of cost) to get pure water; research facilities that need to have pure water so as to prevent contaminants from ruining the experiments, have specially filtered deionized water. There is also distilled water, which basically boils water and then collects the distillate (steam) to remove some of the major contaminates (eg the "hard water stains" on the sides of the pot that was boiling water is the contaminate that had been dissolved in the water).
Thus water for the most part, will have a distinctive taste depending on what is dissolved in the water. Some people prefer bottled water since their city tap has too much chlorine in it, or because their well water has too many metals in it. I know that when I used to live in a very small town (population < 1000) the water was extremely hard and tasted like iron / rust, so most everyone would either drink bottled water or would filter the tap water using something like Pur or Brita filters. Now the city I live in doesn't taste so metallic, so I can usually go for water straight out of the tap, although sometimes (if I remember to fill the jug) I will filter it before drinking.

I know my water tastes different than my friends up in the mountains. So depending on the mineral content I'm sure different brands of water taste different.
-
it is all tap water --- all these "bottled water" companies are doing is trying to make money. We pay for water when we pay utilities for wherever we live. It is so obvious AND everyone is being FOOLED. Fluoride has been touted as beneficial for YEARS and it is TOXIC.
-
No, some water taste like the plastic container their in.
-
If you don't like how the water is tasting then just add a pinch of flavor to it. :P
-
It is true that water has no taste, but many brands have minor stuff added to it for maintaining freshness or something. That makes them not all taste the same. The best brand of water is the water that comes straight out of a well. :)
-
lol.."slimey"

oh no jsuderc..i was laughing at what freepcmoney said.
-
i like poland spring
-
In the past I purchased Ice Mountain water but not any more. I have a water filter on my kitchen spout, so no need anymore. I do think bottled water taste different.
-
I don't think all brands of water taste the same. I even think some of them have an after taste. Water is supose be flavorless but i can taste differences. Well water is the best I think, than the water you buy in bottles.
-
I don't like water everyone is always telling me you need to drink more water. I don't drink water at all if I can help it. My favorit is mtn dew and if I am going to drink anything its going to be mtn. Dew.
-
I think they taste slightly different
-
All water does not taste the same. I think where the water comes from has a direct effect on what the water tastes like. If I'm going to drink bottled water I like Deer Park water and if I have to drink tap I'll like it as long as it doesn't taste too metallic-like or chlorine-ish.

:bs: :bs: I'M GOING TO DISAGREE WITH YOU FULLY ON THAT.... I COMPLETELY LOVE TWO BRANDS OF WATER. THEY COMPLETELY COMES FROM THE SPRINGS FAR OFF SOMEWHERE, I CANT EVEN PRONOUNCE IT. ONE IS LIKE IN A SQUARE BOTTLE, AND IT COST $6 A BOTTLE, AND THE OTHER IS EVIAN. YOU SHOULD TRY IT, AND THEN RESPOND BACK... AND WATCH WHAT I TELL YOU, THOSE TWO ARE THE BEST WATER THAT I HAVE EVERY TASTED IN I LIVE IN MISSISSIPPI..
-
maybe it just depends on a one's taste buds.
-
They don't all taste the same. I prefer ones that are actually spring water and not processed. It will tell you on the label if it is processed or natural fresh water.
-
I don't think all bottle water taste the same. I perfer flavored water to or that vitamine water.
-
I never even really have known the difference, but they taste just about the same to me. But sometimes you can probably tell the difference between the brand.
-
no i tasted water, compared to store brand, and there was a big difference
-
i like cold tap water, i already pay a water bill and i;m not going to the store and buy more :notworthy:
