Title: Do you like to wear jewelry? What kind do you wear?
Post by: CharmedPhoenix on October 11, 2011, 01:50:54 am: I like to wear jewelry. I have rings and earrings that stay on 24/7. For special occasions I'll change to fancier earrings and add a bracelet and necklace. I like noisy bracelets like a stack of bangles. I have a lot of semi precious / crystal pieces. I like unusual pieces too and have made some of my jewelry myself. :wave:

I hear you. I'm hard on mine too. The better pieces are for dressier occasions and I gave up on rings with gems in fragile settings. :sad1:

When I go to work, I wear simple hoop earrings.

When I dress up I wear coordinating jewelry...necklace and earrings.

I wore my wedding ring less then a week and broke out . But even though i can't wear it I know i am married. My hubby is very understanding about it. He may joke that i am cheap because i can't wear jewelry, but he knows i would like too.

I suggest getting some hooks or something and take an empty wall or section of one and hang/design your jewelry to be put there on the wall :) plus it keeps kids out of your jewelry and off your dresser!

My local T-shirt pressed a realistic-looking necklace decal on a black shell for me and I loved it-- no uncomfortable weight around the neck or chains rubbing the skin. It has been very versatile and dressy.

i love to wear jewelry it makes me feels good wearing it. It also makes me feel special. precious jewels, diamonds, gold and sterling. i like them all to match with i ever i wear.

Oh well makes it easy for hubby since i don't wear any. Even the staples they used to hold me together when i had surgery caused bad
blisters and they had to take them out earlier then they were suppose too and was bed ridden for awhile.

I will wear my rings and neclaces on occasion but only if it is 10k or better gold. I can't wear cheap costume type because it breaks me out and Silver has to be sterling. When I go to our special services (compaired to regular) I will puta pair of gokld earrings in the front holes of my ears.

My ears have been pierced 3 times; the first time was when I was 8. Nobody took care of them and it caused me problems. I had them pierced when I was 15; my ears were pierced with needle and thread and, while combing my hair, I yanked the string on my right ear, which had to be pierced 3 times because the earring came through when it finally got well. I lived in Chicago and had my ears pierced on the top with a gun when I was 45. Those holes are the only ones I made sure to keep earringed because I did not want them to close up. My husband bought me a watch, so I wear that on Sunday with my rings, bracelet and earrings that I take off after church unless I have to go back to church for an event. :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :wave:

If I had a ring I would wear it more than earrings actually, because I like rings better those, but I don't have the ring anymore.

I can't wear my rings right now, because I've put on some weight and my fingers are a bit fat. I love gemstones, though, so maybe I'll go back to rings soon.

Sterling silver jewelry right now is my favorite type to wear but I also like gold jewelry and precious stones. Jewelry can either dress up an outfit or tone it done. It's amazing the different jewelry makes when added as an accessory. :female:

I'll wear a bracelet sometimes or a couple rings but most of the time I don't wear any jewelry. I don't like big flashy rings or fancy bracelets, I have more simple taste for things like that. I don't like necklaces with really fine chains or large pendants either. Just simpler stuff for me. :)

I like to wear jewelry. I have rings and earrings that stay on 24/7. For special occasions I'll change to fancier earrings and add a bracelet and necklace. I like noisy bracelets like a stack of bangles. I have a lot of semi precious / crystal pieces. I like unusual pieces too and have made some of my jewelry myself.

Yes, I love to wear jewelry. I cannot leave the house without my rings, earrings and watch on. The only bracelet I wear is a pink and white one with Mickey Mouse ears on it I bought in Disneyworld due to my sister battling cancer. :(
