Title: How do you teach your kids right from wrong?
Post by: Tinachelune on October 20, 2011, 06:45:33 pm
I try to teach my kids right from wrong by example.  If they see me doing something that is unethical or wrong, then they are more likely to do it themselves because they think..."Mommy's doing it, it must be o.k.".  I have even went as far as going back into a store and paying for an item that my son had in his hand (and I forgot he did) and I didn't pay for it.  I told my daughter..."That would be stealing".   I only hope I am raising my children to become "good future citizens".   ;D

I don't have any kids of my own, but I've always found example to be the right way.  Hypocritical "do as I say not as I do" never works.
