Just about one month till the biggest shopping day of the year, Black Friday. Are you looking for anything in particular or do you participate in the frenzy? :) I've been checking out sites like BlackFriday.com that release the leaked advertisements well before Thanksgiving day. Not much on there yet, but I'm keeping my eyes peeled for a 50-55 inch tv at a nice savings. I still have a 36 inch tube tv that weighs about 200 pounds. Nice picture still, but not hdtv and way too bulky too look good in my living room.
-
:wave:Oh i can't wait till black firday this will be my 1st one i havent had to work lololol me and my husband just moved into a house with are 3 boys and we are looking for some tvs and other things hopefuly we'll get lucky..
-
I love black Friday! I wish that I would be able to get a flat TV this year. what about your wishes?
-
I've had terrible luck the past few years. In fact all the things I wanted the last couple were gone right away and I was left with nothing even when standing out very early for a sale at one of the brick and mortars. I don't think I will shop at a retail store on Black Friday anymore. I don't think there is too much luck either online, but at least I don't have to face all the unfriendlies in line (a number are aggressive).
-
Well, last year we snagged a laptop for $200 bucks :angel11:
Not really planning, will wait and see I think.
-
I have no plans to fight the insane crowds this year have done that in the past standing in line over night. wow that was nuts
-
I love black friday. Im looking for a psp.We should post about stuff we see leaked in upcoming sales when they start putting out the online ads.
-
I have only done Black Friday once. That was enough of that for me. I don't like the crowds, rude people, everyone in such a hurry. I usually do my shopping online now.
-
I'm waiting for This black Friday on nov,too
I'm thinking about what i can buy in this year..........
-
I have always wanted to go out early Friday morning, but can never seem to get myself going. Maybe it would be different if there was something I really wanted, but I normally spend the day getting the deals online.
-
I LOVE black Friday! Its best to go with a group, that way you can split up in a store and get almost everything on your list. I have 4 of my own and 8 nieces and nephews to shop for, so getting the best prices is a necessity, even if waiting in line for hours is a big pain in the butt! Last year I got my boys a train table with a full train set for 79. What a steal! The table alone is 79! Not sure what I'll be looking for this year, but my oldest wants a ipod touch, Gotta keep up with the Jonses... lol ;D
-
I've never been to a Black Friday sale and will probably be working that day anyway.
-
I use the site Bfads.net to get the lastest sales, I also enjoy getting the giant paper the night before and looking at the sales making my list.
-
No way will I go out and fight the crowds. I don't want/need anything that bad.
-
No i dont participate in the black friday activities. the deals are nice but I rather not have to go through all the long lines and such
-
Can't wait...
Love black friday!!! Though still thinking if I should stay home and shop online or go to stores!!
-
right now i am not looking for anything plus i will be in kansas visiting friends for thanksgiving so im not sure what i will be doing on Black Friday.
-
It depends entirely on what is on sale. I HATE the crowds and the super duper long waits in line for 1 or 2 items. If there is a really great sale on something then I will go and stand in line but as a general rule I buy things on-line with free shipping. I can usually get as good of a deal or better for the types of items I'm buying!
-
No, I don't deal with that. It isn't worth it to me.
-
I could not beleive that last year you could not buy anything after black friday. The stores I went to never restacked after that date and even on line many things were completely sold out. This year I have to start earlier than black friday if I want to get anything. The heck with the sales.
-
Hmm Black Friday is just something I've never been able to wrap my mind around enough to participate in, I'd rather shop when its not so crowded and I don't like giving the stores the idea that one big sale a year makes up for high prices we pay all year.

Me too. I think the saving it sound good, but I don't waste my energy and fight for Black Friday. But I really like Black Friday though. :)
-
I usually do participate in Black Friday sales, but not really to do Christmas shopping. I usually get myself a new purse or something. I have found that shopping for the latest and greatest thing is way too stressful. And I certainly am not one of the first people out in the day...
-
I only went shopping once on black friday and it was soooo crazy, I will never do it again no matter what kind of deal it is!!!! :BangHead:

I'll be working on Black Friday. :P

I'll probably be shopping online because I don't usually enjoy being caught in a stampede! :o
-
Not looking for anything in particular, but will be checking out the ads to see if anything appeals to me. I have gone out a lot for Black Friday and I tend to enjoy the whole experience, even if it is a bit crazy.
-
I do not shop on black Friday. I have seen too many bad incidents on the news. I have also realized that many of these GREAT DEAL items only have a small amount at each store.
Not my idea of a good shopping experience.
I will forfeit these deals to the braver shoppers.
-
I always do all my Christmas shopping in September so no Black Friday for me. Besides Judas Priest is playing that weekend and that soulds like alot more fun.
-
I rarely participate unless there is something I really want and there's not a huge rush for that item. I don't get up early for it or camp out.
-
Nearly all the Black Friday ads are online now at various Black Friday sites. The best deal I saw was a 1080p 42' Sharp LCD tv at Best Buy for 200 bucks! :o Want an Ipod Touch? Target will be selling the 8gb Ipod Touch for 195 with a free 40 dollar Target gift card included. Xbox 360? Best Buy will have the 250gb model with 2 games included for 200 bucks flat. Not too shabby. I can't wait.
-
You couldn't get me near a store that day. I have tried to order things online that day, and it also is a mess!
-

me either i can not wait for this .
-
I wont be goin to black friday. people are crazier on that day . I wait til way after to get my gifts whe n even cheaper . an the are stll pretty good.
-
I'm not personally a black Friday fan, its too crowded and crazy for me, but my boyfriend is looking forward to it. He's a kid in an adults body, so it's like Christmas for him. I know that i'll be dragged around numerous stores looking at electronics on black friday, haha. It's not so bad though, my birthday is a week after :) so maybe i'll get a few gifts that people bought on their shopping day!
-
I have to admit as far as Black Friday goes I hire a professional shopper to do the dirty deeds and let my daughter handle all that Black Friday stuff.
-
I actually am almost done my Christmas Shopping. I am not looking for anything particular Black Friday, but I will go out and see if I find any really good deals on things I didn't know I was looking for:) I will not go to Target, Best Buy, Kmart or Walmart. Learned my lesson last year. Not worth the crowds. I will go to JC Penney, Belks, Victoria Secret and Bath & Body Works. I heard that Walmart will be open the Thanksgiving. I feel sorry for the workers.
-
No Black Friday for me, there is nothing I want bad enough to go through all that craziness. There are people that just love it but then I don't like shopping anyway. I would do the Black Friday deals online if anything because I shop online where I can anyway. I hate paying the shipping but I don't like going to the stores, don't like being around a lot of people and am disabled so its not comfortable for me to go out anyway, get in pain and have trouble walking. SO its stay home and do what I can online for me ::)
-
i need money fur blak friday :/
-
I dread black Friday. I work at Walmart and I have to go in at 2 a.m. that morning. We always have a crowd/ If I didn't work there I would not go. I have seen people fight over things and get mad. I have never seen anything I would fight over. Although there is a laptop that is real cheap this year. But I just bought a new desk top puter a few weeks ago and I quess I don't need another one.
-
My mom has worked in retail for over 40 years so I know how crazy Black Friday can be.
I prefer to avoid the craziness. Most of the time you can catch sales that are just as
good the week or two before Christmas.
-
Black friday is not a day that I will go shopping. Everyone that does must be crazy. There are mobs of people and people get hurt. They are like vultures. I rather shop online and have everything sent to my house and the best part is there is no crowds.
-
I'm going to compare online deals to the in store ones; if the online ones don't match my specific needs, then I'll have to go in-store. I have four little brothers who all want the latest shooters for Christmas; Black Friday shows they'll be $30 off each, so that's $120 I'll save buying them that day.
-
I'll stay warm and toasty in my waterbed thanks, you guys have fun. :binkybaby:
-
My family has made it a tradition to go out on black friday. It has gotten to the point where we cull a list ahead of time and know exactly where we are going and what we will be buying. I love the thrill of going in the middle of the night and the hustle and bustle of the holidays.
-
Every year I would love shopping online and specially save a bundle for Black Friday. Like last year I bought soo many games I never play them but I sell them back. I guess it's like this, if you want to buy some stuffs but want to wait for sells, just like real life's sell the internet has a special sell. Also there's "Cyber Monday". Not sure which one is which.
I think Black Friday is real life and Cyber Monday is internet lol.
-
I am staying home... way too many people to deal with
-
Can't wait for black friday ;D This will only be the second one I've done, but I'm really excited because last year was really fun, and I got some amazing deals!
-
I enjoy the thrill of the hunt and bargains, usually buy more than I would've originally. Lots of impulse stuff that I get home and wonder why I bought all that stuff. I also seem to get deals on stuff for myself and home than gifts for those on my list. I'm not a morning person, but make the exception to get out on Black Friday morning, who knows what kind of great deal is waiting for me?!
-
I heard it already started last weekend in some stores.
-
I don't think that I'm going to shop Black Friday this year. To any one that does, enjoy! ;D
-
I have recently arrived in this country and didn't know anything about Black Friday. I did some research online and found that it started in Philadephia. Interesting!
-
I have been saving all my FC earnings for months now just to spend on the Black Friday and it's almost here. I can't wait.
-
I did one Black Friday shopping experience in my life....ugh people were crazy. Not worth it. I go online a lot to shop. You can get great Black Friday deals right at home without battling the crowds and loonies. I mean what about the person stampeded on and killed Black Friday shopping.....no thanks.
-
Looks like me and the wife will be going out into the madness this year to save some money. Been a while since I ventured out into the realms of the darkness on that dreaded day of insanity... :D
-
Oh wow already I love black friday i just love the tradtion and excitement i dont care if i dont need or want anything i just love the fun of the crowd and people yes i am wierd to like the crowd but thats just me !!!! Cant wait !!!!
