Title: December New Feature #1: FC Surveys
Post by: Administrator on December 08, 2011, 01:06:59 pm
Hi all!

I'm very happy to announce that we have a new feature available: FC Surveys.  These are a selection of high paying ($1 to $3+) market research surveys which you can take right here on FusionCash.  This system includes email invitations which will be sent to you automatically as new surveys are available which match your demographics.  You can, of course, unsubscribe from these invitations at any time.

Try it out and tell us what you think! (http://www.fusioncash.net/fcsurveys.php)

The Terms and Conditions for this new section of the site are as follows.  This will be a section in an updated version of the site Terms of Service which is soon forthcoming.
Code: [Select]
FC Surveys. The market research surveys available as "FC Surveys" are provided
under contract by a third party, Precision Sample LLC.

The availability of these surveys and their crediting are reliant upon Precision
Sample LLC's systems, and as such, FusionCash cannot be held liable for failures,
unavailability, or lack of credit for completed surveys through the FC Surveys page
arising from a problem with Precision Sample LLC's system(s).
By using the FC Surveys program, you agree to have your profile information
(including name, address, email address, and demographic data) transmitted to
Precision Sample LLC for the express purposes of matching you with the most
appropriate surveys, and emailing you notifications when a new survey is available.
You may opt-out of such notifications at any time, and no other type of email will
be sent to you from Precision Sample LLC. Survey invitations will arrive from the
domain FusionCashSurveys.com. FusionCash maintains a contract with Precision
Sample LLC requiring them to protect your personal information with industry standard
technology, and also forbidding them from using it for marketing purposes.

You probably noticed that this is "December New Feature #1".  There are more new features and earning opportunities coming soon, including some of our most-requested features.  Stay tuned!

When I click the link I get an error that I wasn't able to be registered.  Might this be a glitch and I should wait to try again later?  Or could this be due to my possibly having an account with this partner?  As far as I know I am not a member of "Precision Sample LLC", but if they're known by other names, it's possible I may have an account (as I have signed up for several survey sites).  Would love to try this out!

Bummer... it seems to be working for others but I can see that you're getting that error.  It looks like you are already in their system, although that shouldn't really be possible!  I'm following up with them now, but it's late in the day so it'll likely be tomorrow before I hear back.

Seems to be.  I got an email notification for a survey last night.  When I clicked that link, the FusionCash page errored, but when I refreshed it appeared I was taken to the survey (I didn't qualify for that survey).  Today I saw the new FusionCash survey tab on the Dailies page.  Was able to access that page with no issues and completed my first $2 survey - just waiting a bit to watch it credit my account (just finished it about a minute ago, and plan to check back later).

Love this new opportunity!  Thanks much!

Update: Turns out that was a $1.50 survey (not $2) - and it credited pretty quickly!  This new feature is officially working in my book!   ;D

Well I did all the surveys, and was only able to complete 2, drinking water survey for $1.50, and opinion survey for $2.00, that actually credited for $1.50 not 2..
I am happy with these new opurtunities to make more money, and having higher values but...
my only issue is the ones I didnt qualify for wont let me try again at all, and it seems as tho I will never again be able to attempt them again, but they are still sitting there for me to click on... I click on them and they tell me I already participated, which I obviously couldnt, and the 2 I participated in have credited and disappeared from the list..

So Administrator my ? is will these surveys every allow anyone to try again ever once you dont qualify the first time? the other surveys and offers allow you to try again and again, but these seem like a "you got one chace so dont blow it" type of deal. Obviously I realize if you dont qualify and your still not going to qualify 2 minutes later and changing your answers is unfair and basicly cheating, but what about in the future? demographics could change, personal situations could change, mayb I havent drank the right kind of beer this week for the beer survey, maybe I will have next week? ect ect.

these have been great for me so far.  i love them!!!  once you fill out your profile, there doesn't seem to be anymore qualifying that you have to do.  it just tells me from the get go if i qualify for it or not.  they don't seem to be too long and they credit fast.  the money you make from them is awesome.  i was already doing well for the month, but now i'm ahead of my goal.  i hope these stick around for a long time.

As you put it, "you've got one chance so don't blow it".  There should be NEW surveys added frequently, though, and you'll get an email about them when they are ready.  So although it's "one and done", you should still have a good chance to earn substantial cash long-term.

Now is this going to be all the time now or just for the month of December. I think this is a great idea you guys came up with. This way you can hit your mark a lot faster and make more money.

Filled out the profile surveys and got my $.50.  Thanks.

Tried the only survey that was available to me (Auto), but was disqualified.

Was surprised that the Auto survey is still shown on my list.  Is there some way that the system could remove surveys that I've tried but been DQ'd on?
Hate to keep seeing the same survey on the list and not be sure whether it's the same one I DQ's on or another new one.

I'm assuming that is I tried a survey and finished it, it would be removed from the list.

I noticed this too - that the one survey I successfully completed was removed from the list, but the surveys I was DQ'd from stayed in the list.  It would be helpful if the survey was removed from the list, or put in some "disqualified" or "survey closed" bucket to clear the list.  That would make it easier to know when new surveys are available.  Not sure how much work it would take to whip up something like this - but a suggestion to keep the available survey list cleaned up a bit.

The FC Surveys program is ongoing and not just for December.  It should have new surveys throughout this month and in future months.

I will see about removing DQ'd surveys from your list.

This is a great addition! I love FC; they're always looking for more ways to help us earn some money!!!

But is this right? In my list, I believe it said that this was worth $2.00 or something.

Opinion Survey - 6050f5ae   2011-12-11   $0.00

I finished it for nothing? ???

ETA: Thanks for the credit! That just scared me a little bit, LOL.

Hey don't feel bad I am having the same problem. I have the same survey's your talking about on mine as well don't know why they are there. What also stinks is that the new toolbar doesn't support Google Chrome and I use that more than IE cause I feel that IE is a lot slower than Google Chrome.

Ok, so after all this time of not receiving email notifications that there are FC surveys waiting for me, I finally get one for a "Sports and Advertising" survey for $1.10. I clicked the link in the email and got a page saying I had already taken this survey???......NOT! I don't even have that one for $1.10 on the list of surveys I've completed!!  :dontknow:

IceKitty, I got the same emailed survey, and the link sent me DIRECTLY to a totally different survey subject - one on health issues. ???  (I was DQd from that one)
I found a couple in my FC survey area; DQd for first one (also NOT what it said it was), but qualified for the other, called "Short Snack Survey: $1.00, time-5 minutes" but was really on diabetes/signing up for a clinical trial, and was NOT a "Short 5 minute" survey either.

I completed the WHOLE survey, I get "You look like a good candidate for the trial. Are you interested?"  I said yes, and give them my home contact info (address, phone, etc), and they approve me to sign up for the trial. (AFTER processing my address info)
Next "Look over the details of the trial while we process your info", so I click next, and a little teeny box says"No trials in your area".
I click next again, and "We're sorry, but there doesn't seem to be any clinical trials in your area. We appreciate your time, and we will keep your information and contact you if one becomes available." The bottom of the page says "Click next to process your answers".
Next page "We're sorry. You reached this page because there's been a problem with this survey attempt. Possible explanations are you didn't qualify, or the survey isn't available in your area, or has been closed. We appreciate your time and opinions. Please try again."
AND of course, I didn't get credit for the survey. (And I didn't get a screen shot of the last page because I didn't think I hadn't gotten to the last page yet).
I REALLY think this is :bs:, for more reasons than one.
1st How is this a "5 minute short snack survey"?
2nd the survey I was "pre-qualified" to take was (supposedly) TO SEE if you are a candidate for the clinical trial.
Well, I DID the survey, and I WAS told I was a candidate. I was asked for, and gave them, my home info, and they TOLD ME they were going to keep my info on file. How much more complete could it be?
3rd This survey should determine whether you are in the area where the trials were happening BEFORE you do the WHOLE survey, ESPECIALLY if it means that you don't get credit.
There's no ifs ands or buts about this - I completed this survey, and this survey company scammed their way out of having to pay anyone for their time.
I am MORE than a little peeved about this.

EDITED to add:
And now I see this:
Am sooooo HAPPY....Just finished my 3rd FC Survey about Clinical Trial.  :D
Can't wait to get my $7.20 credit. Thank you Fusion Cash. You just made my day!

I'm happy to see another option at earning more.  I haven't been with FC for very long.  I'm consistently impressed with how many different ways they are coming up with us to earn.  Although I do the FC survey's I've yet to qualify for one.  Oh well... just keep on keepin' on.

Yep, have had that happen to me too....got the one for the short snack survey and it turned out to be for something totally different, which I didn't even qualify for. I feel for you having to go through all that on the clinical trial one....royal pain in the  :bootyshake:. I guess if I get that one, I'll know what to possibly expect!

I've also noticed that the description and estimated time to complete don't often match up.  I also had the short snack survey, and upon doing it, it had nothing to do with snacks.  Ultimately, I didn't qualify after going through qualifying questions.  But, it's really not that big of a deal, at least to me.  If a survey is showing saying it's worth $1.50 and says it's about one subject and will take 10 minutes, yet it ends up being about something else and takes 20 minutes, I'll still be very happy with having $1.50 go to my account.

NOW I just got an invitation for "5 Minute Survey for Heartland Residents" which said (quoting from email):
You're invited to participate in a survey for residents of the Heartland! We expect all members who participate will complete this survey.

BIG SURPRISE!! I was DQd!!!

I took this survey less than 40 minutes after it got to my inbox.
How does being disqualified relate to their statement "We expect all members who participate will complete this survey".
 ???  :dontknow: ???

It seems that most of the time the surveys are routed through Samplicious which is notoriously difficult to get qualified for.Hence,I've only gotten one survey to credit from these FC surveys so far. :P

You should have definitely received something for going all the way through AND having to give all your information for the clinical trial!! I qualified for and completed one yesterday that was actually what the title said it was.....imagine that!!

IceKitty Duroz and Oryon I agree with all your comments. And I have had some success on the FC surveys completed and getting credit for about 6 of them no problems, which is awsome...

First, the emails that are sent are not the only FC surveys available, some show up on my FC Survey page but dont send me an email, some show up on both, and now I belive its updated were if you complete or DQ from the survey it no longer shows up on your list anymore.

The estimated time is often wrong, but im sure no matter the time they put it will be wrong for some, everyone takes their own ammount of time.

And Duroz, that sucks I hate when stuff like that happens  :( And I just today see this Clinical Trial FC Survey for $7+ (no email tho, just on the page) and I guess Ima try it, Ill let you know how it goes.

But recently I clicked on a Health Ailment Survey that redirected me to a survey about Daily Deal Email services, which I did qualify for and completed only to not get credit.. low and behold a couple days later I see a new FC survey available, for guess what? Daily Deal Email services!! I sent in a support ticket (which took fooorrever to hear back on) and got this response:

"In some cases, FC Surveys can fail to track automatically/instantly. In that case, there is "backup" crediting functionality, but you have to wait a while for it: since you completed the survey in January, backup credit should be processed by the end of February. I know this isn't ideal, but it's better than being completely out of luck."
So hopefully Ill get the credit for it at the end of this month but who knows. I dont know why some say its a survey about one thing, then is something way different.. I guess theres still some bugs needed to be worked out with the new Survey system. I reccomend sending in a Supprt Ticket about this, however it may take a long time to hear back, it took me 3 weeks to get a response since the FC Surveys are handled by a seperate support team apparently

If you fully completed the survey and gave out all your personal info, you have every reason to be upset about not getting at least some credit, especially after they told you you looked like a good candidate.  That is rather ridiculous to me.

I AGREE! And not only did I not get the $1.00 credit for the "short snack survey 5 minutes" it claimed to be, then I see more than one person saying the survey was listed for them as a $7.00, or $7.20 survey.

I should have NEVER been sent to that survey from the $1.00 short snack survey link.
GRRRR! :bs: :angry7:

That's not the first time this happened.  Last month I got sent to a higher paying survey from a lower paying survey link, got paid the lower amount, and then received an email for the higher paying survey, but of course it said I had already done it.
GRRRR! :bs: :angry7: (again)

These FC surveys are a little wacky! I just had one that was titled "Short Snack Stuff Survey" (5 minutes) and the only screening questions it asked before it DQ'd me was my age, gender & state I live in. Now, how in the world can they know that I wouldn't qualify for a SNACK survey based only on that info?? I don't recall having snack related questions in the profile surveys either, so it couldn't be based on those!  :dontknow:

It's a matter of quotas.  DQs can be for any number of reasons, including, simply, being in a particular zip code.  For example, this snack survey might hypothetically have a quota of 100 people in Montana or 500 Females.  Once they reach that limit, anyone in that bracket will be DQ'd.

i actually completed the survey...it didn't DQ me since I have diabetes...got all the way to the end where it killed the survey since they didn't have a treatment facility near me....oh well.  Most of the FC surveys do well for me....much better than trying many of the daily ones that kill me right at the beginning.  No complaints though since I overall like the FC surveys

It must seem like I have a snappy answer for everything :)

But the reason you don't get better DQ reasons is that such information is valuable to people who write software to exploit surveys.  One of the many cases where a few bad apples ruin it for everybody.
