Hi All
How are you doing today?
I love reading books. Please tell me how many of you love reading books in free time? :angel11:
-
I read a lot. I can't pass up a good mystery. Now and then a good thriller, not into horror stuff. Stephen King bores me. I'm retired with a lot of free time so my Kindle and I spend a lot of time together.
-
I love reading books. I'ts great to see a movie, etc, but reading a book lets you use your own imagination and makes the scenes in your own head - not just seeing someone else's ideas
-
I Love reading books it is one of my favorite pasttimes .
-
Nicholas Sparks books are my favorite!!
-
Me! I always have one or two books going at the same time, usually a fiction and a non-fiction book.

I pretty much have my nose stuck in a book all the time.
-
I used to read a lot more for pleasure than I do now. I enjoy books, but don't have the time due to my studies. I enjoy anything fantasy or sci-fi though.
-
Does anyone have any suggestions to some great books? I have been looking for something new to read

It really depends on what you like.. Do you like mystery, horror, romance, drama etc. I personally like to read romance and mystery.
-
I really like authors like Nicholas Sparks. So I guess romance. His books are so hard to put down because you want to know what is going to happen next
-
I do love to read even though I didn't when I was younger.
-
I love reading! I am married to a writer / published author. :notworthy: Her nose is always in a book, so I too enjoy! ;D
-
I, too, love to read. Recently I started rereading the entire Marion Zimmer Bradley Darkover series. A friend turned me on to her about 15 years ago and I have loved her writing since. Most people know her through Mists of Avalon which was made into a TV movie with Julianna Margulies about 10 years ago. Thanks for opening this subject. It's nice to see so many people enjoy reading!
-
When I was younger I was always reading during the holidays and my famiy us to be mad and I was a teenage they said I need to get my nose out of the books but they just wanted me to watch the younger kids I still like reading just purchased books off one of these programs I like Marry Higgins Clark but I have been lazy to pick up the book and start reading. I have been depressed so I think that has something to do with it. I like stories that have a little mystery and romance in them.
-
Unfortunately I do not love it although I wish I did. I think it is good to exercise the mind.
-
I look a good book...when I get a chance, that is
-

I love reading books, especially a good one at that. I love to read romance, mystery, and self-help books.
-
I love reading books when I have free time.
But I do not have very much free time.
-
I love reading and enjoy mysteries the best.
-
I like reading books, only these days I do not have much to time to. But I am into mostly fiction.
-
Reading has been hard for me. I will read, if it is required, but I would rather listen to an audio of the same material.

The worst thing to me is being without a book to read. I am a reader and have encouraged my grandsons to read as well. I don't understand people who don't read.
-
I used to read much more than I do now, and I have many books I haven't even read. They do always make me sleepy!
-
I love to read and get immersed in the stories. It is one of my favorite relaxing things to do.
-
I love reading. I just got two new books from Amazon and I'm really looking forward to winter break so I can read them. :)
-
I love reading books. I like mostly horror, but I read some humor and non-fiction also.
-
I love to read and normally have a whole stack I'm working through.
-
I love reading books though I can only read them when Im not in school
-
I LOVE to read! :) I recently downloaded a bunch of the free books for my Kindle (mostly classics but also a few mysteries and a thriller) so I'm working through those. I'm looking forward to my son being a little older so that we can read Journey to the Center of the Earth together!
-
I love to read. The best thing in the world to me is to lose myself in a really good book. To be transported to another place and/or time and imagining myself as a part of that world. I'm very excited that my daughter, now 10, has started getting into reading a lot too.
-
I love reading. I probably read between 10-15 books last year outside of the books/texts I had to read for grad classes. However, with work being so insanely busy and demanding these days, picking up a new book is extremely difficult (finding the time, that is).
-
fine and u reading my mail is about it now love true stories
-
I love to read. It takes you away from the stress and drama of daily life. I love when it is raining and kind of cool outside. Snuggle up on the couch with a blanket and read. The simple pleasures in life are the greatest. ;D
-
My husband and I both love to read. We can hardly pass up a book store, especially if it's full of old books, the mustier smelling, the better. I love historical fiction and have read everything I can find by Eugenia Price. I love to browse in the library, too. I'm afraid I'll never warm up to the new book-reading devices. The look and smell and feel of a book in my hands is all part of the reading experience that makes it all the more pleasurable.
-
My wife is a big time Mystery book reader. I don't think there is a mystery book that she hasn't read!! I like more of history and biography. I may read 2-3 book a year!!
-
Funny how this sounds, I love reading books I made. But got tired of reding others.
-
Yes, reading is great for your brain.
-
I love to read. Last month I’ve ordered several nonfiction books to read from Amazon, however I haven’t gotten much time to relax properly to read them all yet. My free time is pretty much limited these days. :'(
-
I LOVE to read!
I haven't had much time lately to read, but I do love a good book.
-
I love to sit on the porch in the sun on a cool day and read my nook. My wife will read her kindle out there with me. It's relaxing and plenty of free or almost free books out there for e readers.
-
Me! I always have one or two books going at the same time, usually a fiction and a non-fiction book.
I had a friend that loves to read and usually is reading several at the same time. Sometimes people would question her, asking whether she gets confused reading multiple books at the same time. Her answer is to ask how many TV series the person watches in the same season. The person usually gets her drift after that...
I like to read too. I am currently reading my first e-book on my phone. I actually like being able to open up my "book" with only a few taps on my phone, so I can read it anywhere.
I also had a waitress at a restaurant I frequent regularly recently let me borrow a book... Usually when I went to the restaurant, I'd go alone, so I'd bring a book to read, and she therefore noticed that I was a bookworm, too. A few weeks ago, she had mentioned Pillars of the Earth and shortly after she recommended it, I saw the mini-series on TV. So the next time I went in, we talked about it (she said the book is even better, so I'll have to go read it at some point), but then mentioned another book that she thought I'd like and happened to have it in her car, so I was able to borrow it.
-
I love to read. Books, newspapers, magazines, you name it,I'll read it.
-
I love reading books I used too read everyday before I had kids but now I read whenever I have the time. I love it. My husband purchase me an ereader for christmas. I cant wait for Christmas.
-
I love a good mystery books and a book with a good love story. I love reading.
-
I think I would like to read more. I think that will be one of my resolutions for the new year. Thanks for the idea! I'm sure I'll be enjoying more books now.
-
I read the bible and christian books
-
 Love to read an actual "book". Forget the Kindle thing. I'm reading The Shack now. :cat: :fish: ::)
-
I love reading books. And I read a lot in between knitting
-
I love reading the Bible
-
I still love to read, problem is I don't have the time usually.
I have to admit that audio books are a nice substitute.

I dont get how people can do or enjoy that.
I prefer full immersion in a given world at a time.
-
i love to read every night when i put my daughter to sleep, a nice bubble bath and a good book is always a good ending to the day :)
-
I love to read books that allow you to go places you have never gone before.
This may sound strange but I once read a story about a family's vacation to
Florida. Years, after reading that story I found myself in Florida seeing some of
the same things they had descrided in the book.
-
I LOVE READING BOOKS... I READ OVER 2,000 BOOKS A DAY. I LOVE HAVING FUN READING DIFFERANT BOOKS   ITS FUN WAY 2 LEARN
-
I will buy a book to read from time to time and buy both paperback and Kindle edition books! I usually buy books from Amazon.com, because they are less expensive!
-
thank god there is still some people and they love to read.i love it!!!i like the way books smells and just have connection by touching.
-
I will read one at the election, but basically only in the Word.
-
I love to read whenever i get a chance and it has to be romantic novels. love it
-
I like reading books. I'm waiting for a box of romance novels to be delivered now. I like romance novels. Historical accounts of disasters and medical histories.
-
I am not a book reader anymore I get tired way to easy when I start maybe get through a half chapter and ready for a nap.
-
I recently picked up reading after taking a peek in a Jurassic Park book by Michael Crichton. I fell in love with the straightforward style and suddenly I find myself buying and reading books! I get them at the thrift stores in the area and and at 50 cents for a hardcover the prices are definitely right.
-
I love reading books in my spare time. I sometimes use amazon to download onto my new laptop or download books on iTunes and read on my iPad or iPod. I have bought like hundreds of books that I love re-reading over and over, but it's really expensive to buy new books. Sometimes I borrow from the library.
-
I'm not a book reading fool but my favorite book growing up was the hobbit. Glad they're making a movie out of it finally.
-
I love reading anything but have a spouse who doesn't seem to like me reading. Maybe she thinks that this is time better spent working on the house or paying attention to her? I spend a little extra time reading in the bathroom! My current job just gave us a Denver eco-pass which allows me to utilize the public transportation system all year for free. I have been trying the train system and it gives me an extra hour and a half to read. Driving takes about an hour but is considerably more expensive than free! I just finished Patterson's Toys and am going to work on the Job's Autobiography.
-
I have found myself now reading alot more since ive had my second child....it intersts me in a new way and keeps me busy and calm when im stressed!!
-
I never used to like reading but, since my children have grown up and moved out I really enjoy picking up a good book. I can't stand to read stuff on the net, I guess I just like the feel of a "real" book in my hands. I have read 3 books two from a woman named Trish Cherokee and one from a man named Mr. MacTavish. I must say that I found both of them very interesting.
-
i love reading but lately, i don't have leisure reading, instead i have SAT reading :(
-
Hi All
How are you doing today?
I love reading books. Please tell me how many of you love reading books in free time? :angel11:
I read all the time it seems. Sometimes cereal boxes too. lol
-
:) i am currently reading 4 books at the same time and i have not finished any of them
-
I wouldn't say I love reading books, but as an English major, I have to read many books!
-
I love to read. I prefer historical novels, intrigue, mystery etc.
-
I'm an OBSESSIVE reader. I especially love the YA genre.. I feel like it has a lot more heart and honesty than your typical thriller or "I'm-only-here-to-make-you-cry" adult drama.
My Kindle makes it super easy to buy books and reduced prices, but it can still be a problem when I look at my credit card statement and say "I ordered HOW MANY books this month?!" Of course, FusionCash helps a bit! ;)
-
I love reading books.
