Title: Significant Other Gifts
Post by: seek87 on December 16, 2011, 09:58:26 am
So what is everyone going to get their significant  other for Christmas as a gift? Do you feel it's harder to shop for your boyfriend/husband or  girlfriend/wife?

My husband is pretty easy to shop for.
He loves NotW clothes (and just my luck...he's been saying he wishes they had PJ pants, and behold! They come out with Men's PJ pants a week later!)
He also plays the drums and just recently bough some recording stuff so he can start recording his friends and himself playing...so I could always get him stuff for that (mics and whatnot)
He also really liked Call of Duty (though not obsessed like some people) but he only has 1 of the games...

My husband is my best friend, so I know him well and know things he'd like, even if they're just little presents.

I am not sure what to get my boyfriend, he is so hard to shop for.  We have been together for 10 years, he is 32 and enjoys playing golf.  But we are on a really tight budget since I am disabled and can't work.  Any ideas???  He deserves a good present because he works really hard and takes care of me and our 4yr. old. :dontknow:

mine is very hard to buy for.
he never spends money on himself, so asking him
what he wants gets me nowhere. he hates getting
clothes, he has a kindle so books are no longer an
option as gifts, gift cards aren't personal enough,
he downloads any movie he wants. he's not a
"materialistic" guy...

sigh. yes, very hard  :sad1:

this year, we are going in together on something
we both want, which is a new tv! the money we'd
spend on gifts is going toward something we can
share, and i think it's a great idea  :peace:

We have limited ourselves this year because we are going on vacation in two weeks. Just a t-shirt and some sleep shorts for my bf.

my husband is hard to buy for.  If he REALLY wants something he gets it himself, and if I tried to get it I'd probably have details wrong anyways as it's always something really specific.

This year he told me he wanted some work out clothes -- easy enough
we also try to focus attention of Christmas gifts on our kids, but we still do buy something for each other too
