Title: Having to spend money to make money
Post by: malloryh1997 on January 08, 2012, 08:56:08 pm
I absolutely love Fusion Cash! It works great but I only have one suggestion.  Maybe having more offers that don't require you to spend money to make money.  Sometimes spending a certain amount in the beginning makes sense to make a certain amount but with contracts and stuff I usually loose money in the long run.  I believe it is an inconvenience to have to plan it out before I accept an offer.  Do other people think this??? Hopefully we can get it changed.

There are quite a few offers that do not require you to spend any money. Just click on the "daily" and "no Credit Card required", and "survey" offers each day. You will see that you really can make a little extra cash just by spending a little time doing these offers each day. I stay away from any of the offers that require you to spend any money unless it is something I was intending to purchase anyway.

I don't see ANY offers that ask me to spend money to make money, in fact the TOS discourages that practice. What I do see is plenty of interesting offers that cost money to try and reward me for it as a bonus.

I certainly wouldn't spend money to make money because I don't always get credit for the fusion offers.  no offense intended because I love the site and continue to participate but I have done offers that I didn't get credit for.  I did netflix because I wanted to join netflix anyway but I didn't get the reward and would have likely gotten it on another earning site because everyone else will accept the confirmation e-mail.  But as i said u win some and u lose some but I certainly wouldn't do any other offers because may have a good chance of not getting the reward and that would be costly.   :dontknow:

I think that there is a lot of ideas on here that you can do with out costing you any money but if you see something that you are interested in they if you pay for it and get something in return great but it is not all about spending money.  I do the survey's and the daily things and it doesnot cost me anything

I haven't spent any money to make money on here. There are free offers, ptcs, surveys, promotions, bonuses, videos, etc. to do. There's no need to spend money. I am working on my third cashout in 3 months.

I have no doubt that there is ways of getting $25 within 180 days - but I wonder how much actual time  clicking and reading and contests it took to get the $25.

Now I know it's not "real work" surfing and having fun. I Do that anyway while watching T.V. anyhow. I was just wondering the time to money ratio.

five hours/$25 = $5/hour

Let me know how you all did without spending $$$$ or signing up for free trials that require your credit card numbers. Thanks.

The simple answer to your question is get referrals. I made over $50 this last month from referral bonus money and I didn't spend any time at all to get it, so how does that fit your equation?

Of course you need to do some of that $5/hr (or less) work to build your reputation so it is easier to get lots of referrals, but I considered that paying my dues to get where I am now.

Bottom line, broaden your scope and look to the future. Fusioncash is not going anywhere like so many of the other programs will.

I am making plenty of money on here without spending any money. Some people want to use credit cards to complete some of these offers. I on the other hand do not own a credit card or a debit card and wouldn't use it on here. THat is just my choice but you can make plenty of extra spending money every month and not spend a dime.

I don't spend any money on the offers but I admit it takes patience and persistance to do the dailies each day especially if you don't have referrals to help boost your income. For me that means I cash out about once every 3-4 months. Which isn't bad considering it only take a couple of minutes each day. If you want to get to cash out faster referrals and surveys are other ways to get the money faster without paying for anything.

That seems to be the American way.  You have to have money to make money.  That's why the richer keeps getting richer.

I never do the offers that require you to spend money. I just stick to the surveys and free offers. You won't make as much but i'm happy making whatever i can.

I never do anything that you have to pay for originally. It's not worth it to me. Occasionally I won't get credit for completing some offers, so I won't risk doing one I paid something for and it not working out!

Same here.I just stick to the free offer/surveys.It's one thing if I really wanted what was in the offer, but that really isn't the case most of the time.

I work very hard to find ways to earn without spending money.  The only reason I would spend money to earn is if it was something I wanted or was planning to buy anyway.  If there was like a Netflix thing that paid me back, I wouldn't mind joining and earning some back for it.  Though I try to avoid those types of things as much as possible.

I never spend any money either to make money. I only do the ptcs, forum bonus, promotions, daily email, surveys, and videos when available. I don't even look at the offers that aren't free. Just not worth it to me.

Yes that is definitely my new philosophy, well not having to spend money to make money. I've tried two or three things in the past, where I either had to pay money upfront, or do offers that involved using a credit card, or pay to start a website and then didn't make a dime. I think I was about to give up on trying to make money online until I ran into this site. What attracted me was how they advertised the free offers you could do without using a credit card. So I felt like why not try one last time, since I wouldn't have anything to lose. I'm so glad I did cuz so far all the money I've earned from here are from doing free offers.

Yep, I am avoiding anything that costs me money on here. I'd only consider it if I were going to sign up for something anyway. If you guys are looking to start a side business to make extra money, I suggest providing a type of service (dog walking, pet sitting, housecleaning, etc). I currently clean a house and an office for the owner of a company I once temped at. Pays very well and I only clean 8 hours total each month!  Plus he provides the cleaning supplies, so aside from driving to each place (both are very close), I have no out of pocket cost!  I also catsit for a gal who lives a few miles away every few months.

you don't have to spend money to make some money. There are 'free' offers and if you want to, do those credit card offers and such. I'd say as long as you're paying for something you did want anyway, it should justify your subject.

I spent $8 for 6 Dr Seuss books, 3 of which I already had. I listed them on eBay and made $12, plus the $8.00 from the FC offer so I ended up making $12.. Now that is good money

i have 21.08 and none of it came from offers where i had to purchase something first. However I did find a necklace and earring set for a site im on. I got 25 cents for joining the site. I should be getting 15 for placing an order. I only paid 19.97

But it would have been one of those things that I would have purchased anyway this way i really only pay 4.97 for a very beautiful set

I have never spent one penny to make money on FC. I have made over $250 on FC. Spending money to make money is an Option, not a requirment, to make money FC. I cash out every month without spending money, there are plenty of options avaiable to not have to spend money. To me the option to spend money and recieve a product/trial is just an 'extra' bonus feature... thats my perspective anyways

I also have not spent any $$$ on fusioncash and am getting ready to get my first cashout.  There are many ways to make money by the free offers, surveys, watching videos, etc where you do not have to spend a dime.  It might take longer to get to the $25 minimum but hey, it's worth it to me!

I have not spent a dime on any offers at FC. I have been here a month and a half and will cash out this month (just missed the $25 last month). I just check in every morning before work to do the daily stuff, and then at night to see if there is anything I missed (FC survey, video, etc.). I have spent money at other gpt sites, which is fine, but they were for things I wanted to try anyway--but I got paid to try them. I think you should only do the paid offers if you actually want the service. It can become a hassle trying to cancel a bunch of things you have signed up for (in order to not get charged on your debit card again)--trust me, I know from experience :BangHead:

I totally agree, especially when you forget to cancel the promotional deals....I try my best not to sign up for anything that I have to pay for and if I do I make sure it is not something that I have to make a commitment to. I want to do the book deal so bad but you have to commit to order and additional 3 books I think or they will charge full price for the books that are on the $1 promotion for full price.

Why would you have to remember to "cancel promotional deals", (i.e., paid offers from FC sponsors), if you signed-up with them in order to legitimately  benefit from the offer itself and not an offer completion bonus alone?

From FC Terms of Service:

"B.Disqualification. A user's account may be disqualified and his or her earnings forfeit in, but not limited to, the following cases:
v.He/she posts instructions for canceling any offer, a walkthrough, or any other type of tutorial or suggestion on a website. This includes but is not limited to: instructions on completing a specific offer, suggesting an offer based solely on its payout ..."

What's wrong with spending money you got free to buy something you want and getting more free money for doing it?

Not a thing - as long as the money you're spending isn't more than the return on investment, (regardless of whether the initial investment funds were "free" or not, at some point there'd be diminishing returns if the "something" involves a recurring monthly bill, for instance).  On a one-time "something", (or even a recurring-bill something), it may be worth the investment in any particular individual's judgement.
