I also do neither. Driving is dangerous enough as it is without adding another distraction.  Also there is nothing that needs to be said that badly ,that you cannt at least pullover and stop, before getting on the phone.

I try not to text or talk while driving but sometimes the phone rings and it is my husband and I answer to make sure all is ok.  I am getting older so my eyes will not let me text driving anyway!!  but if I had to or something inportant was coming in I would take it and pull over and text back.  Remember to be safe and do not text or talk while driving.

I will NEVER text.  I will talk if I am hand free and only if it is something quick and important.  Hands free is really nothing different than talking to a passenger in a car, which is many times way way more distracting (like my kids) then talking on a hands free device.

I don't do both.  People who do text or phone while driving are waiting for an accident or death to happen, then they'll learn their lesson.

Texting is something I will never attempt while driving, but i'm not an expert "texter" so I have to look at the keys while texting. Dialing and talking on the phone is a whole different story for me though, it's easy and I never have to take my eyes from the road unlike texting. Anyone that can't handle talking on the phone while driving though probably shouldn't be on the road in the first place!! Driving is more than looking straight ahead, pushing pedals, etc... But that's a completely different conversation that I probably shouldn't start....  ::)

I don't text while driving and try to get friends/family to stop if they do.  I would only talk on the phone hands free and only if I feel it's important.

I used to text quite a bit, but I lost my license last year so now I don't do either lol. Plus Oregon passed a no text or talk law last January and I think it's a pretty hefty fine, so I wouldn't do either if I could drive.

I certaintly do not text while driving but i have talked on phone while driving maybe four or five times.  Even then I amke sure it not a long conversation bc if it not an emergency then i tell them i will call then back or put the phone on the seat and pull into lot.  Driving is dangerous enough when are paying attention imagine something taking your attention away from you.  There is nothing i hate worse than for someone to almost hit me while they are on the phone and my kids are in the car

I never text while driving. I have a hands free in my own car when using my mobile, but when using another vehicle I once in a blue moon pick up the phone to tell the recipient I'll have to talk later (I can't multitask too well with the phone and drive). In most circumstances I usually let this go to voicemail and I respond back when I have a chance.

I'm so bad at texting that it would take me 100 miles to get a message out.  I just don't try it at all while driving.  I do talk on the phone if I'm out where there's not much traffic especially on a 4 lane divided highway which I have to use to get most places from my home.  Since I'm way out in a rural area there's not much traffic on it.

I don't do either.  If I have to use my phone, I will usually pull over and stop.

None mainly because I don't ever drive! I would never text behind the wheel though. I would probably take a phone call since I rarely ever get phone calls so it might be important.

I pull off the road to call or text. I think texting's to much to do when you should watch the road! I've answered calls during driving, if the calls long I pull off the road or just tell them I'll call you back later!  :o

I try to only pay attention to driving so I have my cell on low volume. I am afraid of texting while driving, its dangerous. If my cell ringing like nuts I will answer, thinking of emergency reasons only.

Yeah, it pisses me off when someone is changing lanes and almost hits me because their texting or on their phone, and they just keep  on going, even if you honk your horn. It's disrespectful, rude and dangerous, because I have my child with me in the car, do ya think they care about that, let alone their own passengers?? Of course not. Only when something horrible happens it seems that people pay attention, and that's sad!!!

I have texted. Really bad to do, and I almost went off the road. I talk on my cell driving on speakerphone. Not smart either.

Neither!!! That is too dangerous and anyways I couldn't even dare to try to that with a toddler in the back seat!  :o

I get so angry when I see someone talking on the phone or texting while driving it makes me what to roll down the window and yell at them to STOP!!  :BangHead:

Why would anybody do either?  :BangHead: That is a very dangerous thing to do, if you don't pay attention on the road you can create an avoidable accident. Anybody that calls can leave a voicemail that I can listen to or text can wait for me to respond as soon as I get to my destination.

I try not to, and usually I don't, but sometimes I have to take a call while I'm driving in which case I make the call as brief as possible. If I think I'm going to need to contact someone while I'm on the road, I try to get my calls and texts taken care of before I even get in the car.

I will text when there is minimal traffic or if I am stuck in a traffic jam.  Usually I talk on my phone because I have a blue tooth speaker that picks up my calls while I am driving so that I don't have to fddle with any gadgets.  I see people fiddling with their phones all of the time.  Ninety percent of the bad driving that I see occurs with people who have a phone in their hand.  My current job just awarded the staff with public transportation passes which allows us to use any mode (buses, shuttles, light rail/trains) for free and I am absolutely loving it because I have eighty more minutes per day with which to do things just for myself.

I only text when at stop signs, if that at all. I do talk on the phone quite a bit when I am driving if there is not a lot of traffic. I live in a very small town, and there is rarely any traffic if any at all, so I do not see any harm in talking on the phone. If there is anything around where I need to pay more attention, I'll hang up.

I don't text or talk on the phone while driving. There is actually an app for smartphone users that will make your phone stop getting notifications if you are going over a specified speed.

I don't like to do either. When someone calls me I have my passenger answer and if they really need to talk to me I pull over.  I have been trying to get my son not to text or talk while driving but he does not listen which upsets me.  He is 20 so I guess its not up to me but doesn't mother know best?

Neither!  Both can be dangerous!  If someone calls me, they know to leave a message because I will not answer the phone/ but will call them back as soon as I stop! ;)
