Unbelievable. Rip Whitney you will be missed. I feel awful for her daughter Bobbie Christina.

Oh wow that's wrong she was an idol i loved her growing up and still to this day how did she die i haven't heard anyting about it.my heart goes out to her loved ones and more i'm sorry i know whatit feels to lose someone soclose i just lost my oldest brother last year 2 days before my 18 birthday it's so hard ad complicated to get over again i'm so sorry!

So sad to lose someone so talented. I know she had some issues with addiction, I just lost a nephew to his addictions, such a waste. RIP Whitney, may you finally be free.

I am shocked that she is gone. It is all over the television. Died at a Beverly Hilton hotel in Los Angeles at 3:55pm PST. So young at 48. R.I.P. Whitney Houston :'(

I was so sad to hear of her death. So young to died, what a waste. Whitley finally will have peace and no more pain.

REALLY? Where you really suprised at her death??? Not me. Drug abuse sucks and if it gets out of control, especially for celebrities, Death is the last stand! :star:

I'm still in shock. :( It's unfortunately not shocking, but it's still incredibly sad. Such a damn shame.

Whitney Houston gone, it is hard to take in, I was shocked when I heard on the news she is no more. My heart goes out to her family and may she Rest In Peace.

I couldn't believe it when I saw this thread and hadn't read the news yet. I jumped over to a news site just to see if someone was joking or something. So sad and so very tragic. She had such an amazing voice! I feel so sorry for her daughter....

it's always sad when someone takes their life. She was a great talent with everything she could possibly want. I guess, even with everything, that she still wasn't happy. She will be missed. Loved her voice.

I prefer to hear the National Anthem performed in a traditional way but I've got to admit, Marvin Gaye at the NBA All-Star game and Whitney's performance at the Super Bowl were fantastic. What a talent! Wish she would have made more music.
