March 1st we celebrated 36 years of marriage; most of them very good years and some pretty good years but would never say we've had any bad years. (Just a few bad times during those pretty good years) We have 3 daughters, 2 son-in-laws and 6 grandchildren and they are my world. God loves me to have given me such a wonderful bunch of kids and grandkids.

Post by: lbryanwf on March 07, 2012, 05:34:29 pm: Been married for 28 years to one person. He's a good guy with a ton of baggage. In 2009 his baggage became too heavy for me, so I asked him to leave. We still see each other, we still care about each other, and don't see other people. But the utter peace I have without him in my house, is something I would not give up. He's an older guy, 68 years old, and it is my belief that he does not have enough years left on earth to get straightened out through therapy. He doesn't drink or drug, it's mostly anger issues due to a bunch of unresolved stuff in his life. The way we are now, when we spend time together he does not burden me with his anger ( because he's on his best behavior). But on a day to day basis it would be a different story. :wave:

We went out to breakfast at our favorite buffet this morning and we'll cook some steak on the grill next week when the weather's supposed to be nice. They're saying hail for our anniversary so guess we'll just stay inside :)
