I love a good Merlot. Found one of the best from Trader Joes referred to as 2 buck chucks. Good story on this Charles Shaw wine. Beer, is good. Here in Portland Oregon they have some special micro brews and now are having beer tasting pairing the different beers with different types of foods you eat. Really intersting, and yeah some good beers out there.

Its funny to me that so many people like beer and wine. I love wine, but I cant stand beer. I cant even stand the smell of beer. Most people consider wine a big deal, but then they will go drink beer later. My husband also hates beer, but doesn't drink wine either. He does rum. It is weird to me, because it took me forever to find a wine I really liked, but my husbands family likes them all. I think that is because they all drink beer.

Beer is good for nights you're hanging with friends and playing games. Or just watching a football game. I enjoy wine on nights when I am trying to unwind or relax with close ones.
-
I like sweet wines but wine in general gives me a headache. I like beer. I prefer the micro brews or imports. They are a few domestic beers that I like- Sam Adams being my favorite.

Two buck chuck good deal when serving a large group, esp. when getting together for the weekly cookout! But, I hold a cold beer in a frosted mug dear to heart!
-
Neither!! I don't like to drink...and I don't like the taste of either one...I tried a few different wines but never liked any!
-
I like beer and wine. It depends on what I'm doing at the time to chose which to drink. If I'm fishing I like a beer, watching football I like a beer, but at a fancy meal it must be wine.
-
Yea beer for me- especially local microbrews, wine makes me sleepy, plus its not a good party drink to have.
-
I prefer coffee with Baileys!!!! Mmmmm....

I am a senior citizen who no longer drinks alcohol. I am not anti-alcohol; there just came a time in my life when I decided I was no longer interested. Alcohol tends to make me sleepy, and I felt I was missing out on too much in life. I was also giving up cigarettes at the time, and, as one seemed to go too much with the other, I gave up both. When I was younger, I loved to have a beer (or two) in the summer when I had been outside working. I liked wine (usually a white wine) sometimes in the evenings. Alcoholism tends to run in my family and has been the cause of some pretty sad events. Although I did not get that particular addiction, I think I'm better off without it.

I used to drink wine - developed an allergy to it, then changed to beer. This made me go to the toilet too much, then changed to Vodka - still there
-
beer is the best...you have to drink to much wine to get a little buzz and some wine is to sweet amd it gives me a headache
-
Just a little wine sometimes.
-
I'm under the legal drinking age, but from what I sampled most wine is too strong for me, so probably light beer. Honestly, neither.
-
I don't like to drink alcohol at all so I would say neither. I would rather drink a cup of OJ.
-
Out of wine or beer I would choose wine. Nothing like anice glass of sweet white wine :) But I would prefer some tequila!! :angel12:
-
beer..bud light to be exact..but i dont like to drink to much...at the occasional cookout or random spurt that me and the hubby feel like buying a case on the weekends other than that im straight
-
I prefer hard liquor, vodka or schnapps or something, but if I had to choose between the two, wine all the way. I'll drink beer once in a while but most brands taste like absolute *bleep*. Chardonnay is my favorite, so yummy! Although after you down a bottle all by yourself in one night you kinda lose the ability to taste...I have no self-control >.>
-
wine because beer gives you a gut.
-
If i had to choose between the two, i would say wine (white perferrably). Wine is smooth & mellow to me, & it gives me a nice buzz. But once in awhile I will have a cold one, (Heineken's) especially if i'm watching sports with friends &/or family. It just seems to go better with the occassion.
-
I will take a nice cold refreshing beer over wine any day. If I want to get really drunk for cheap I will roll with a two buck chuck to party but beer over wine any day.
-
I am a wine lover but an ice cold Bud Light is good once in a while too.
-
Wine is nice... but beer is better ;D
-
I would have to say Wine.
-
I actually CAN'T drink beer (I'm allergic to hops), so wine it is! Though I'm not a strict consumer of fine wines or anything like that! I like the cheap fruity stuff!
-
I try to stay away from both!!
-
Haven't had much wine, but from what I have had it was alright. As for beer, it kinda depends on the beer. Most beer, that I've actually had before, is fine by me. I'm not much of a drinker though either.
-
I do not like wine nor do I like beer. My preference is a Canadian whiskey with Coca Cola.
-
I guess I'm more of a beer person, wine is really for special occasions for me.
-
Not a fan of beer, but will drink it on occasion if it's the only thing to drink. I prefer sweet wines, but they are loaded with calories so I'm trying to cut down. I usually go for vodka mixed with a diet soda or crystal light when I do drink.
-
Neither for me. I rarely drink, but if I do, it's usually a mixed drink.
-
Both...and keep them coming...don't let my glass get empty! Just kidding. I will have wine and/or beer depending on the occasion. Dinner usually dictates wine, sporting events are geared towards beer. I can monitor consumption more effectively when drinking beer whereas wine has a way of sneaking up on me. I have a difficult time finding an inexpensive wine that I like. Generally my bottles of wine come out to about twenty dollars a bottle which makes it a more expensive option than beer, I love bordeauxs, cabernets and pinot noirs in that order. I can settle for a nice viognier but prefer sauvignon blancs with chardonnays coming in on a warm day.

Wine has a higher alcoholic content than beer.
I absolutely hate beer but I love wine. I like both dry and sweet, but dry is best with food.
-
I like beer better.
-
Neither I like mixed drinks
-
I love to have a nice cold beer after a longf days work!! I have never really cared for either red or white wine :dontknow:
-
I HATE BEER
love a good melllow wine
cabernet or merlot or champaine cant get eneough of that
but seriously if i wanted to get drunk
its either vodka or wiskey all the way
-
I should not drink at all. I always choose beer though. But, I should not drink.
-
I don't really care for either. I like Baletore champaign. It was the favorite of our hot air balloon team. I like pumpkin ale and Pyramid apricot ale, but haven't had any in years. I didn't mind Heinekin, but it's been even longer since I've had one. It's just not in the budget these days.
-
I don't like wine never did tried it one time did not like to dry beer all the way.
-
Honestly it is best to pick the food first then choose your drink. I love both beer and wine. I like to have a nice hoppy beer with my meal when I go to The 5 Seasons. They have a wonderful selection of their own brew. All of their food is organic and locally grown.
-
i hate beer but i really dont know much about wine. I want to try some, which kind would you suggest i try?
-
wine
-
Wine. But with both, the darker the better.
-
I like a good lite beer. I have a tendency to get a headache on 1 glass of wine. I once and a while have a glass of wine but, I prefer Beer.
-
Coor's light for me, I'm a light beer drinker, literally. I like fine wine.
I liked aged wine, and pinot grigio for fish and chickent, cabernet savignion
merlot
-
I like flavored vodka better, but I choose wine, cause beer smells and tastes like vomit. I'm not trying to be gross, but that's what it tastes like in my opinion...Fermented grapes and potato's taste better than fermented grain husk, LOL.
-
straight vodka shoots
