How many of you are aware of Pinterest? I simply love the site and its growing by the thousands everyday. It has a lot of interesting info to choose from.
-
 it!
-
I enjoy going there. The craft and food recipes are wonderful.

I've heard of it, but I've never checked it out. I don't think I want to join any more social networking sites; I'm already on Facebook, twitter, Fanbox, and probably a few more that I haven't visited in a while.
-
I've heard of different social networking site's, but I'm not sure if I want to join them!
-
I know a lot of people are really into Pinterest. I have clicked around on it a little bit but it seems a little confusing. :)
-
I joined just to see what is going on, but haven't posted anything.
-
I haven't tried it as of yet, but I think I will check it out.
-
 I have quite a few friends who are on it and find it very enjoyable. I haven't checked it out yet, but think I am going to have to just to see what it all about!
-
I have never heard of it. What kind of site is it?
-
I have checked it out once or twice and I think I am going to really enjoy it. I think it could be addicting.
-
I have heard of it but not sure what it is all about. I know a lot of people that interact with it all day.

I have never heard of this social networking site like Pinterest. I checked out the site. I don’t feel hooked. It doesn’t appeal to me as much to register for an account.

It is considered a social networking site, but it is not really. Have you ever been planning a party and you have all kinds of notes written on papers and some pages bookmarked with ideas you like and some little papers sticking out of 5 different cookbooks for recipes? Well, on Pinterest, you create a board called "Party Ideas" (or whatever you want), then when you find something online you want to use or reconsider, you "pin" it to your board. It puts up the picture you choose from the website. That way, when you go back to find the ideas you had, they are all in one places, shown with pictures, instead of handwritten notes or whatever. When you click on the picture you pinned, it takes you right back to the page you found your good idea on! You can create boards for whatever you want- home decor, recipes, lesson plan ideas, fashion, etc. The reason it is considered "social" is because you can follow others boards, if you like what they have or repin something someone else has pinned. It has so many great idea, solutions for anything, great recipes... whatever! I use mine all the time, but I always pin things I find on the internet on my own. Many people just "repin" all day long, so you see the same things over and over. I have had people tell me they "dont have time for that." But unless you never use recipes or make a list or go back to something you saw before, then it definitely takes less time than traditional ways!

Pinterest is so much fun, so many great cooking, craft and home decorating ideas. I love the creativity people posess.

My cousin warned me when I signed up that I would be addicted. I scoffed. Now over 800 pins later, I admit it. I am addicted. There's so many neat ideas that I can't wait to try.

I've only visited Pinterest a couple times, but I soooo know that once I head over there more often, I'm going to be totally addicted.

Agreed as far as crafting goes! I've visited and was intrigued...actually was sucked in for a couple of hours. I didn't become a member of it though. I haven't checked out the recipe section ... Yet that is.

Have not joined or posted but have looked at some interesting things.
-
haven't tried it yet but heard a lot of good things about it ;D
-
I Just found out about it. :)
-
I'm on Pinterest but haven't done much with it. It probably would be a great tool to use.
-
I think I will take a look at it. Something different than Facebook I hope
-
Have heard of it, but haven't checked it out....what do people like about it??
-
I signed up to use Pinterest- It is a little different from other social networks but it has a lot of activities.
-
I enjoy the DIY projects and recipes.

I am addicted to that site

I end up running out of albums (or whatever they are called) and ended up putting almost everything in my random category. I am bugged by the fact I like to ctrl+click things so I can open multiple pages at a time, and if you make a category in one of those pages, it isn't updated in the others. Would be nice to be able to refresh without it giving me issues.
