Title: how often do you surprize your partener
Post by: aggie49 on April 29, 2012, 11:12:28 am: i try to at least as often as i can my guy brings me something home once a week either roses candy or things that he knows i want or need

Unfortunately he does not like any surprises and actually got upset a couple of times. I have now stopped. Pity, because it was fun, but not worth the stress anymore

Post by: meguk on April 29, 2012, 01:36:10 pm: I don't know if this counts, but I bring home my husband "treats" from the grocery store a couple of times a month - a special type of cheese, brussels sprouts (his favourite), or chocolate. He loves them, and I love making him smile.

He usually calls me when he walks home from work so sometimes I will act like I am having a really bad day and my head hurts, etc.. then when he gets home I surprise him with a good meal, movie, treat or cleaned up something he usually does. I also sometimes pick him up from work as a surprise. I probably could do things more often but I try when I can.

He helps me alot at home and sometimes I like to beat him at it, so he doen't feel overwhelm with house work. Lately when I get home from work I see that he had already made me somthing that make me happy, but he doen't know how to cook and all he can make is eggs and quesadilla. I'm really getting tired of the same thing everyday, but I don't tell him so he doen't feel bad. Does this count?
