Post by: tammypete on May 09, 2012, 06:36:19 am: Mothers Day is a happy and sad day for me. My mother passed away on Mothers Day, May 8, 2005. So on that note it is a very sad day for me but on the other hand, I have 3 wonderful children who love to shower me with cards and gifts on that day. I am blessed to have a husband and kids that understand!

It's suppose to be nice and warm on sunday so we will be having a bbq. Just sorry my oldest can't be here. But I will get a call from her, so that's good.

My Mother passed away in 2007 but it still hurts so badly that Mother's Day will be an emotional day for me. My Mother-in-law passed away in 2010 and we miss her greatly too. 2 of our 3 girls will be here for Mother's Day and I think they are planning a nice lunch that we will take over to eat with my Father-in-law who will be 95 in August.

(Doesn't want to celebrate mother's day and birthday together.) If anything, my hubby and I will probably get a card and flowers for her.

Also, I don't get to spend it with my mother-in-law because I have to work that day.

The nicest part, however, is that my son is helping me with the move. I told him it is a wonderful Mother's Day gift and I meant it! It is wonderful to have such a great guy for a son and I'm so grateful that he loves his dear old mom and his so generous as to help me with the move. Happy Mother's Day everyone!
