i don't i wait for things to come out on dvd or on tv it cost to much to go to the movies anymore

I haven't been to the movie theater in months. I used to go with friends or my gf, but lately we have decided the money could be spent in better ways. If a movie looks really good we wait for it to come out on DVD and rent it or buy it, or sometimes the move goes on Netflix soon after it is released. :)

I love to go to the movie theater's when I can. Which isn't that much! Average 2 to 6 time's per year! :thumbsup:

i hardly ever go costs to much and nothing to see wait for redbox to have something . i'm thinking of the surveys that ask how many movies you've seen in the last 6 months the last 12 months they are so annoying

I haven't been in years. I rather wait for it to be in the redbox movie thing at Wal-Mart. Why pay 10 dollars each ticket when I can watch the movie for $1.20, and rewatch any scene that I want to.

we dont normally go to the movies coz it costs too much and it's better to watch it at home so u can pause the movie to go to the bathroom.

My hubby and I don't go to the movies often, but when we do, it is like a treat. We also have a movie theater that plays movies that have been out for a while and the price is $1.

I agree, the theater costs too much. Our town library shows movies as they come out on DVD, or free. That's my theater now. ;D

I wait for movies to come out on dvd but sometime i go to drive in with the kids.

There has been a real drought of good movies in recent years, and I think it's ridiculous that ticket prices are now over $10 a pop, but I still go from time to time because nothing beats the experience of the big screen.

i usualy wait and see movies on dvd,,movie tickets are to high i think,,we have a 1$ theater here in town ,i go to that but i never go hungery,,the movies playing there are a couple monthes old but there new to me :dog:

i think they charge to much for the movie theater now a days i understand to a point but its going up unless you go during the afternoon then its cheap but we all work during this time i wish they were still cheap like they were back n the day in the 80s or 90s that would be great but thats hopefull thinking

Not like I use too, I just wait for it to come out on dvd or watch movies online; I enjoy watching movies online all the time. But if it just happen to be a movie that is really big, I will go to the movies and see it.

I have cut down on going to the movies a bunch unless it is something really special.

my son works at a theatre and gives me passes so i see all the new releases

I really like going to the movies, but I don't really go anymore because of the reason you mentioned. It just costs too much. The way I see it is that when I see a movie it is new to me. So it doesn't matter if it just came out or if it is a year or more old.

I haven't been to the movie theater in at least 10 years. I wait for things to come on television or if I can either get the DVD or borrow one. Sometimes I can find movies I want to see streaming online for free. My computer has trouble with videos like that (& youtube videos) but it's usually not too terrible so I can follow the images fairly well. If none of these options are available, then I just don't see the movie.

I love going to the movies, but only if someone else pays...sorry most movies I've seen in the past five years have been mediocre or they sucked. I didn't lose any money though lol.

I really like movies, but they aren't worth the price it costs to see them at the theatres. I rent sometimes since redbox is only a dollar, but most of the time I will wait and see them on tv.

Not even close to as much as we used to. It's just freaking expensive!

we have been going to the movie theater less and less often...it's just too expensive......esp. when you can't go see a movie without the popcorn and snacks and drinks.....

I rarely go to the movies, I enjoy the family time at home with my kids. Whats better than being curled up on the couch with a family movie on hearing your kids laugh!! :heart:

Not anymore. My last visit to the movie theater was dated back in the year 2000. So that was over 10+ years ago

Yeah, prices are crazy, and I'll agree that decent movies are few and far between. I did enjoy Avengers though, that was worth the money.

I might go to the movies twice per year. I like being able to pause for breaks...lol

Yes I love going to the movies. My favorite time to go there is on a Friday or Saturday when there's lots of pepole. It's more fun that way.

we have a dollar movie theater so we go more then we would if we had to pay full price

Usually I don't because it's just way too expensive unless I get a coupon or free movie pass. I usually wait the few months til it comes out on dvd.

I'm with you on this. It cost way too much. I'll go to the occasional must see movie but i can wait for most movies.

When my son an them came to visit for Christmas, we took the grandsons to see Alvin and the Chipmunks. That was the first time I've been to one since 1985 and saw Rocky something.

The only ones I go to these days are with my daughter to the $1 kids movies that the theater runs for summer.

Not as much as I used to years ago. I would rather wait for dvds nowadays.

yes but not often it's an every once in a while thing like about 4-5 times a year at most and otherwise I rent the DVDs instead.

I go to theater only to watch the best movies. If the special effects are there I am so there. It is hard to wait for the DVDs.

I used to go to the movies all the time but recently I think enjoying DVDs is pleasant too so I stop going to the movies reight now.

Yes we go 4 to 5 times a year kind of pricey, so its got to be a movie that everyone wants to go see.

Yes, I still go to movies. I like to go on date nights with my boyfriend or take my daughter for a special day out.

I'll go every once in a while if it seems like a really awesome movie is out.

I don't go to movies. The theaters are usually filthy with sticky floors and seats. Stupid People talking during the movies really drives me crazy. I prefer purchasing the DVD and watching from the comfort of my home.
