do paypal deposits charge you a fee?

I have never been charged a fee when Fusion Cash sends my money to PayPal. But I am on other sites and when I have my money sent to PayPal, I am charged a fee. The site reduces my payment, not PayPal. However, I believe that it is a fee imposed on the site by PayPal. I think that in the United States, some businesses may be charged fees to use PayPal services but not individuals. That is what I think. I might be wrong.  :dontknow:

FC has an agreement with PAYPAL called "mass pay"  where they agree to make payments en masse (ie once a month) and in return, PAYPAL will charge them a reduced total transaction fee (~2%) and will not charge their members a fee on their incoming moneys.

That's a real plus for us.

The standard fee for incoming money to us is 2.95%+$.30 (as I remember) for a Personal PAYPAL account. International transactions may have higher fees.

Other sites may or may not have a mass pay arrangement and there are a variety of ways that I've seen it operate:  some like FC, cover the entire fee; others charge you a withdrawal fee and they cover the PAYPAL fee via the mass pay arrangment; other pay part of the fee and you pay some.  Many do not pay anything and you pay the full freight.

Note that sites that ask you to pay upgrade fees or advertising fee pay a fee on your incoming monies -- and sometimes sites charge you for that too -- but most don't.

Not surprised that EBAY would not get involved with mass pay -- too many people would want immediate service and payment.
