Title: what was your graduating class???

what was your graduating class in school??
and were you a jock or a preppy or what ever in school??

i have teenagers and they discuss this kind of stuff and they recently asked me ,so i thought it would be interesting to see ..

i was the class of 88, and i think i was part of the nerdy group..

I graduated in 86' .... so not that long ago...but I wasn't really in a "class" of people, I mostly hung out with people from every group...I made friends easily....so whatever "class" that is...lol

I am not looking forward to the day my children are old enough to go to highschool...I wish there was some way to slow down time!! lol

I graduated high school in '74 and college in '78, so I guess that makes me ANCIENT compared to you guys.

 :wave:Class of 81!  I was part of the die-hard partiers! But I had good grades!  what can I say? Guess I'm no  :angel12:  lol
My boys are 14, 19, & 21.  It's crazy crazy trying to raise kids in this day and age with the no tollerance out there.  Kids will be kids but society doesn't want to hear of it.  Or should I say boys will be boys!!  My 19yr. old is one of the most pleasant kids to be around yet it was constant wanting to put him on drugs.  He wasn't hyper just board and not paying attention.  He was a "pleasure to have in class". 
I guess the paddle wasn't the answer which is what was going on with the boys (&girls) when they got a little too rambunctious back in my day.  But the kids on these drugs??? OH.. and then there they are in the schools saying "just say no to drugs"! 
Raising kids today sure is different than the old days.. It's tough.  Am glad I'm about past that.  Now....... to get them out of the house!  & on their own when we're approaching a depression.  it's sooo different.  I was naive to think I was going to raise my kids how I was raised.

class of 86 here.  i was just me. thats the best way to explain it.  i had very strict parents and couldnt do half of the stuff my children do now.   :wave:

haha, class of '05 for me.. i don't think i was part of a particular group. i mean, do what you do and like what you like. it's silly to group yourself with a certain type of peers like that.

Class of '93 here!  Sounds like I'm right in the middle-now I don't feel quite as old :) 
I don't know-I guess I was into the music department stuff and "Stagecrafters".  I was the head of the light crew-we called my position the lighthead....  LOL!  Wow-that brings back memories :)

dougmattson, just trying to make you feel even better about your post: I was born the year you graduated. Just saying....  Nah, that was actually pretty tacky wasn't it. That was an excellent year!

Yes The 60's were pretty good years I believe. But if I had to go to school now adays I don't think I would make it. I ditch school more than I was in. wrote my own notes to get back in. Had a pretty good in school I like it didn't learn much. But had a bit-hin time. :thumbsup:

I graduated in 1962.  I assume that you mean high school.  I was nerdy.   I blossomed in my later years. :dog: :cat:

Class of 80

We were young enough to get exposed to the sixties as kids, had all the crazy punk stuff too.  Who can forget disco?  Bell bottoms.  I was partial to straight-leg levis and rock n roll.  We saw the oil emargo, credit collapse too. I r emember my dad trying to get a home load for 22% - look at us now.

I graduated in 1985 in a class that very few people seemed to like one another. Actually, for which I didn't even attend the ten year reunion, but I was told by someone that did attend that very few people even bothered to show up and that it was such a disappointment that the organizers are not even gonna bother trying to have another one.

And I'm not really sure what I was in High School .. I was just there and didn't want to be.

I graduated in 1975.  We had 44 students.

I played Basketball -- We were the Iowa State Girls Champions that year!

i was supposed to graduate in 2000, but graduated a year and a half early, in jan 1999. in 9th grade i was on the volleyball team, swim team, in the band, in CSF(california scholarship federation) in AP classes and on the honor roll. in 10th, volleyball, softball, CSF, AP, honor roll, student council. and in 11th, all i was in was trouble! hence the early graduation :)

I was class of ?? and was one of the so called "cool" crowd.  Had a lot of fun in school.  Was an honor student.
