 I have outpatient surgury on the 29th and family comming in from ATL. I will get it together and have dinner ready when they get here. The main thing they want is our North Carolina BBQ, Slaw, Corn Bread (the way I cook it ), and Fried Fish. On Friday we will go to New Bern to my sons house and hes the Grill Master so guess you can say CookOut. I hope the weather is nice so they can go down to Atlantic Beach. Either way I want then to enjoy themselves as well as I enjoy them.    HAPPY UPCOMMING MEMORIAL WEEKEND TO ALL THAT READS THIS POST..BE SAFE, IF YOU DRINK DON'T DRIVE

We have an exciting memorial day weekend.  Currently we've been moving out of our stuffed 2 bedroom 2nd floor apartment with a teeny side yard.  We're moving 20 min. away to another 2 bedroom apartment...this one though has a bigger kitchen a real living room - a deck that overlooks a huge back yard with a creek behind it.  So much of a better fit for our family.  We'll be living right next store to my brother-in-law so our kids will have kids there age right next store - it will be the first weekend we all get together with us more settled.  Let the bon fires begin.

Unfortunately Friday, Saturday & Sundays are my shifts to work.

Monday is the start of my weekend.  May stop at a picnic but other than
that ... no big plans.   Just another weekend for me.

Well, all my children and their families have plans for the weekend,   SeaWorld, starting a vacation to Colorado, Camping etc.  So I think I will probably be grilling out for the left over family...my parents, my sister and brother-in-law and any other strays we find around here!  LOL  It will fun, but it is always so quiet without my children (grown) and grandchildren.

We are just visiting with family and going to church, The lakes are just too croweded. One lake has reported between 15,000 to 20,00 already at the lake and the other lake has over 50,000 already there andit is only Friday it will be worse on Sat. I shudder to be there with that many people there. I don't do good in crows anyway.
