Title: Survey payment revoked

Seldom qualify for surveys but finally was able to complete a FC Survey on Private Technology, paid $1 on 5/29 only to get an email today saying payment had been revoked by advertiser.  Gave several possible reasons but none of them seemed applicable so have no idea why they are not paying.  Discouraging.

The 'form letter' usually mentions at least some possible reasons for this, not all.

Other possibilities include, (but are not restricted to); rushing through a survey, providing inconsistent answers, being disqualified under demographic criteria, not clearing "cookies" before taking a survey, having a survey's demographic-quota parameters fill while taking the survey, or not leaving the completed survey/"congratulations" page up for 5-10 minutes.  Many of those things happened to most who've taken surveys before and they used to happen to me as well when learning the ropes. Evenso, sometimes 'glitch happens'.

I also received an email today informing me that credit for one of my FC Surveys was being revoked. It was a movie & tv panel one. This one was not an actual survey but a game of sorts where you bet against up and coming tv shows, which I did the 5 time requested. It is even a site that I can participate in everyday if I wish, which now I don't and won't. The STANDARD email letter doesn't cover sites that want you to log in and bet every day and send e mail every day. Revoking the sign in and play credit doesn't look good for them. FC should revoke them not me I did as was instructed. I know this is just part of being a member BLAH, BLAH, BLAH but this doesn't feel right.

Support ticket. I only have had to open one once. It was just about two weeks in fact. I have yet to receive an answer, though. I am feeling ignored as I know that I completely deserved the credit promised me for completing this other offer, because I have tested the product for it. I was not DQ'd. So, support tickets don't work for me. I know both the ups and downs and ins and outs of this site forwards and backwards and have taken some on the chin, but it is getting harder to play the game lately.

thanks for the heads-up.  This hasn't happened to me yet, but if it does I'll know what it is about. I'm having a little trouble getting credited for completed FC Surveys.  I have finished several that I have not gotten credit for.  I'll have to follow the link that gives tips on taking FC Surveys.  I might get a few good ideas.  Anything to increase my chances of getting approved!  Again, thanks for your topic.  I always learn so much from reading the forum.   ;)

Hang in there a bit more - sometimes it takes several different support requests regarding the same problem for a baseline pattern to emerge, (and evaluated before some action is taken).  FC's been pretty consistent with that when some things haven't credited in the past for several members. Most of the time, a recalcitrant offer is removed to prevent non-credit from happening to others.
  In this instance, a pattern is beginning to manifest concerning at least two recent FC survey offers; the FC Survey: Movie & TV Panel and "FC Survey: Brand Opinion Survey".

More than just a few times, but lately I just do the dailies and get referrals.

It's difficult to know what to say about the FC surveys.  I have done several - the first ones I've done in over a year - because I actually qualified for a bunch.  Only two have been revoked - one I halfway expected because it was a high high paying one - but from another, I got on a live, interactive "survey" and received a twenty five dollar visa card!  The other revoked one was one for 1.10 I believe.  Thanks to those that weren't revoked I cashed out about seven bucks more than usual last cash out.  I don't understand the reasoning either.  Same as I have never understood how some places can have you fill out five pages or more of information that takes at least ten or fifteen minutes to do only to tell you that you don't fit their profile for the survey and are disqualified.

I got my payment revoked on the movie & TV panel one too. I couldn't remember which site it was for originally, but I'm guessing it was the same one where you bet for/against upcoming movies. I joined up & did the 5 bets as requested as well. I dunno what the deal is with that.   :-

You're welcome.  Remember too that FC wants us to be able to complete surveys and offers because, if we don't get paid, neither does FC.

Never had this happen to me. What goes on exactly? Is revocation notice received in e mail or personal message in the forum? When does revocation occur? Is it during cashout approval or during the crediting process?

It seems to take the form of an automated e-mail generated by the revocation process.  For me, only two of these have occurred and they arrived during payment processing, (after the payment request but, before the 20th of the month after that request).

It is discouraging. I got that 5 dollars revoked from the GE survey. It was a two part. I never received the e-maiil for the second part.  :dontknow:

I think anyone who does surveys super frequently (many everyday) is going to run into this eventually, it's the law of averages. I have been on FC for 6 months now, and have had only 2 offers revoked. Not too bad. Personally I don't see this as a huge problem at all. It happens.
