I don't rely on Facebook for anything, but it does help me to keep up with my children.  They like to tell all of their business.

I've never been a fan of Facebook - I don't trust their ethics one iota.  I keep in touch with my family by visiting in person, talking on the phone or via Skype, and good ole email.

I don't go on FB that much. If I want to talk to my friends, I'll text them or send an actual E-mail. I'm also making a skype since I'm starting college in the Fall.

I am on their all the time. Great way to keep in touch with family and friends who live far away. We share pictures of our kids and families, pets and selves. Good for when you don't get together much. I find it a great way to find some old friends and I have found alot of them and re-connected. I love Facebook.

I do like to use facebook to keep in touch with relatives who live far away.  It is cheaper than long distance calling.

I was using it but more and more of my friendz are leaving it. One left it cuz her parents joined!!! Its good for signing up for things, a lot of free stuff you can only get on facebook. So I will probably keep it for that reason alone

I really do a lot of chatting and keep tracking with family and friends back home thru facebook.
Somehow it keeps you updated with their lives.....really helps coping with homesickness.

my brother is the only one in my immediate family NOT on Facebook.
I like it; Otherwise, I wouldn't know what my nieces, nephews, or cousins were doing.
I don't get emails or phone calls from them.
Two or three of my cousins are not on Facebook and, unless I reach out to ask about them, I don't hear any news.
I have met new friends on Facebook too.

That's primarily what I created my account for and found that it was also a good tool to reunite with former classmates.  But then, the drama filled status updates started to get to me and I had to deactivate my account.  Reading all that messiness is not my idea of fun, but since I'm relocating out of state in January I may reactivate it then to keep in touch with fam.

I use Facebook mostly to keep in touch with my friends and family. I also use it lightly to promote some of my money making endeavors. You never know when your friend or cousin may want to sign up with a program and start making money as well!

My family lives far away so, we share pics and comments from time to time. I like to see that they are doing well. On Facebook I also got in contact with family members that I had lost contact with in years. After searching for a while, one day someone replied and I found nieces and nephews that I didn't know I had. Now, we chat all the time and share pictures so even though we live far apart we are closer than ever.

I use facebook occasionally to keep up on all my friends. as far as the security issues I don't put anything on there I don't care if the whole world sees. remember once it's on the internet it's always out there.

That's one of the main ways that I keep in contact with people. My two best friends and I use our personal e-mails, but everyone else I talk to via facebook messages and keep up on people's status updates. I love it for posting and viewing pictures too! I'd never have the time to share as many photos as I do without facebook.

I keep up with people on Facebook--but what I really like about it are the photos some of my friends post.  Sometimes they post videos--and especially when these are photos/videos of their cute kids (!) I really enjoy checking.

I don't "rely" on Facebook to keep updated, it is just the easiest way to keep in touch with everyone without having to make a lot of effort...

Facebook has made it possible for me to reconnect with many of my family members. I enjoy using facebook for this reason. There are other sites popping up that share the revenue with the users. These sites are very similar to Facebook but getting everyone to switch to a similar but revenue sharing site is almost impossible.

I have no idea! I have a hard time figuring out, how to use Facebook? I try to go to my daughter website! But I can never figure out. what's new and what's old I have a hard time. Posting their because I am so busy! I spend a lot of time online making money! A and having fun doing that! So I don't hold Facebook a lot lately I guess I should go more often. And then figure out how to do things like posting pictures I got a real good coastal picture of my great grandson! We were at the zoo or is third birthday party. And I got a real cute picture of him there. But I have figured out how to move it from my photo file is. To Facebook.

As a long distance parent and grandparent, I find Facebook good for keeping up with the kids and their activities.  Something funny that happened that day that they won't take time to call and tell me about is easy to share on FB for all to see.

I have 2 grandsons that live up north and I get to keep in touch with them through Facebook.  They put the childrens pictures on there and I can see them as they grow.  Not the same as being there with them but it helps to see them.  I have family here and friends on facebook that I keep up with.  May God bless each of you and keep you safe.
