I have bought several items from them before...but nothing lately!    I can usually find better deals somewhere else!

It's been a hit or miss for me.  I have found knowing someone whom works there is to your benefit.  I also know that if you are buying a computer or a high dollar purchase, you do have some ability to bargain or haggle.  This is the same at HH Gregg.  The sticker price is not the bottom sale price, thus the salespersons can make a commission.  In general the warrenties are never worth the money---unless it's on a cell phone, always get that (new battery, dropped phone, etc).  I also like the finance options & rewards....really nice if the whole family contributes in collecting the rewards.

Only when the store has a big sale, but other than that, no. It's expensive to buy quality products, and this recession isn't making it any easier. It comes down to personal preferences.

I love the store and was thinking of stopping by this week, thinking of purchasing an ultra laptop.  I did not know that the sales agent could negotiate the price.  THANKS!

No I will never go to Best Buy again. The after service support is horrible.
I am not surprised that they are having problems. Maybe K-mart will buy them out too... ;)

They are expensive. Don't by cables there for anything. You can go online and order from one of the companies that specialize in that. You can get alot for your money that way. Their staff has always been nice everytime that I have been there.

I can usually find any game I am looking for there but their computer repair service geeks will really rip you off if you're not computer savy.

I think they are in trouble as a company and they are trying to re-vamp their image/pattern themselves more after Apple stores.  I used to do most of my electronics shopping there, but now I prefer reputable online stores.

I dont like them because most of the time they dont have things for a pc that may not be of up to date meaning a pc that may be 5 yrs old and plus they customer service sucks.

I don't really buy anything from there.  Almost all of the stuff they have there is too expensive.  I like to get there to see what's new and comparison shop. Then I'll just buy the same item online for a much cheaper price.  I can see why they're not doing so well...must be a lot people who shop like me out there :)

I buy a lot of stuff from Best Buy 3 tvs, 2 computers, printer, wii, 3 cameras a camcorder.  I only buy from them since they are the most reasonable electronics store around where I live.

I have seen some of the stores closing too, but I do enjoy shopping there.
They have many items, but for a good price, you need to catch a sale.

I do. I just watch what I buy there. Like I do most stores. I wont buy any wires there. It is cheaper to go online and order them.

I have bought several thing from them and have always been happy with them and their after service.  I never knew the sales staff could come down on the ticket price.  Have to check that out next time.  I know they can be expensve, but they are the only electronic store in my area.  :BangHead:

i just went there today. we love best buy. they offer reward programs and just the other day when we bought a new printer, we got a $10 gift certificate, plus they offer the best 2-4 yr insurance plans that cover EVERYTHING and we have small kids, so spills and drops are very likely to happen in our home. they also price match, which is great, too.

I like Best Buy for certain reasons. I think that they are successful in being an electronic type of store. Their prices are reasonable and they have almost everything that you would possibly need in terms of technology. However, since the prices can be beaten I go to other stores as well.
