Title: paid leave

In just about everything else America is the front runner....why is it then that working Americans do NOT get compulsory paid leave? Even in the smallest countries in Africa (that is if you actually have a job) it is mandatory that your employer grants you a minimum of 14 days paid leave per annum. Most places offer the added choice of accumulative leave (paid) as well (for those long trips to Europe??).

America doesn't have the greatest labor laws and people foolishly don't use their vacation time
