Question; so you only get paid when you make an original post or do you also get paid as you reply?

You get paid once a month, pending approval, and you must submit a forum bonus request form by the end of the month. The time it takes to credit can be up to 65 days, although I usually get my bonus at the end of the following month. The posts must be contributory (more than one or two words), whether it's a question or a reply and you must make at least 30, but I would suggest you do more than that. Also, posts in the Contests and Promotions section of the forum do not count towards your 30 posts.

This is been very helpful, I did not know about posts made in the Contests and Promotions sections didn't count towards the bonus. Thanks for the info. I think when you first try to get the bonus, it will fill like a long time, but when you get the hang of it, it will probably feel more consistent.

Also, if you click on the "paid to post" link, (at the top in these forums) and then the forum bonus request form  it will tell you how many eligible posts you have for the month

You have 17 eligible posts so far this month
(July 2012)

It will also show your past bonuses and about how long til your next bonus

Month Requested   Status         Est. time to credit
June 2012         Pending         21 days
May 2012         Approved/Paid
April 2012         Approved/Paid
March 2012         Approved/Paid

Original posts and replies count towards your 30 minimum.  Must be meaningful posts.   Posts to Contest and Promotion section of forum do not count towards the minimum.

And you must request the bonus after you get your minimum 30.  Would suggest you wait until towards the end of the month and have a modest margin (>35) just in case.

Personally, when I took a quick glance at your posts, they are kinda short.  I don't know exactly what the FC people are looking for in a post for it to count, but I try to write a good meaty paragraph or paragraphs.  Try finding something that makes you talk more.  Or expand on your posts.  I think one of them you were agreeing with people saying something.  Talk about why you agree so your posts are more than just, "Yeah, I agree with you."

Also, if possible, make two posts a day and post every day of the month.  That will give you about 60-ish posts a month, so that if some of your posts fall short of what they want, others might give you enough posts to qualify.  Except for the past month, I normally have 40+ posts just to be safe and most of them are maybe a paragraph if not longer.

Also, make sure you put the request in for the bonus.  The "Paid to Post" link at the top of the page will take you to the page talking about the forum bonus.  If you haven't, you need to go to this page and fill out the form: http://www.fusioncash.net/forumbonus.php (http://www.fusioncash.net/forumbonus.php)

If you have tried previously, those requests will be on that page as well so you can make sure you make a request each month.  Good luck, hopefully you can find out why you aren't getting your bonus.

June 2012   Approved/Paid
May 2012   Approved/Paid
April 2012   Approved/Paid
March 2012   Approved/Paid

That's $12 I didn't have before!!

Getting the paid to post is easy.  Just make sure to do at least 30 contributory posts a month, and to submit it in the paid to post section giving 3 good examples.  They even give a link to take you directly to your posts.  It is very easy and just check to make sure you do it correctly because $3 adds up.  And don't forget that you can only do for the current month and the previous month.  Otherwise, I've not had any problems with getting credited, have received it every month since I got here on FC. Sorry you are having trouble and hope everything is worked out!!!  This is a great site!!

You just got to be more concise about what you're posting. Make an effort to post something that adds much to the conversation.

If we are required to post meaningful comments to get the bonus why are there such threads as "counting to infinity/eternity" ?

Yeah it does take a while, but I think if you do it every month, you should have an extra 3$ every month and it will feel consistent. To be sure I post around 35 times a month and just don't think about it until it shows up on my account! :)

Such threads/posts don't count towards the forum posting bonus and are an alternative to meaningful posting.

I've never had a problem with the forum bonus.  I'd use the forums regularly anyway because I get much info on here.  You just have to make it part of your regular routine. Good luck with getting it next time.

I do not think it is the length of the post that matter as much as the contributory element. I personally do not write long postings. It just is not my style of writing. I often keep it short and to the point. I have never ad any problems with receiving credit on FC for the forum bonus. As others have stated you have to write some 30+ meaningful contributory postings and also fill out a form to recieve the bonus. It is very elf explanatory by following the link at the top of this page called Get paid to post!  There you follow the directions.  Additionally, there are some help videos created by a fellow FC user that goes by the name Oldbuddy that walks you through the process.

Glad I stumbled across this forum topic.  I am just starting out with posting to try and boost my earnings here on FC a bit quicker.  Read some VERY helpful information here.  Did not know the posts on contests/promos didn't count.  TYVM!  30 posts in a month seems like Alot  :o   Especially when you figure in the stringent rules surrounding getting credited/paid.    WHEW!  Looks like I've got my work cut out for me...lol

20TheBoyz10 don't worry it really isn't that hard.  I don't know why but when I started it all seemed hard and now it is so easy and the money accumulates so much faster.  Knowledge is power.  Guess like a lot of new things like a job, they are easy after you get to know it.  Nothing like being a fish out of water in the beginning though.  Good luck.

when I submitted for my paid to post bonus, there was a check box saying that you understand it can take up to 65 days to recieve the bonus.  Did you check that box saying that you agree?   I presume that if you don't check it, then your bonus request doesn't go through.

Yeah I think thatbox has to be checked. Usually it does not take that long. I only remember the site and forums being down a few times but never for more than a day.

Hmm, I have never had any issues with getting my bonus paid to me, as long as I have made the proper amount of posts and sent in my request I have received payment. If you think you are doing everything correctly maybe you need to submit a ticket, any time I have had problems with anything at all, FC has been awesome about helping me out. :)

I was about to ask the same thing. I guess allot of people don't read the instructions and think it is automatic.

You get paid to post AFTER you've made 30 contributory posts in a month, you request the bonus, and FC has had a chance to make sure that they are meaningful and legit (it takes a couple months). Once you make a habit of posting 30 posts every month and requesting the bonus, you'll get paid the $3 bonus every month after your first bonus is credited.

I like this bonus because it really gets me thinking creatively and have decided to also create my own blogs (I got some of my referrals that way).

Hello,

I submitted my first request for a posting bonus on Nov 21.  I am expecting my first bonus.

Does the posting period include from the first of the month until the last day of the month?

So, if I posted my last qualifying post on Nov 21 2012, should I again request a bonus on Dec 21 for post or maybe Dec 31?

Count resets every calendar month. Any posts before Dec. 1 will count towards Nov. bonus.

Yes, it includes for the entire month, but you can submit when you get 30.  Have to contribute something to the conversation.  Say if you had 30 on November 21, and then by November 30 you had 45, then they count the whole 45.  It's always better to have more in case they exclude some.
