What did you guy's think of Clint Eastwood's actions at the RNC? Did you think he was funny? Did you think he did a bad job and made Romney look bad? Do you think as one person did that his actions hurt the RNC or Mitt Romney?
Here's a link to an article on that happening:

I'd like to hear your thoughts on this.
Thanks

He was funny, and he expressed his views, a first amendment right.

I thought he was AWESOME!!! Especially when he said, "When somebody does not do the job, we gotta let them go". The crowd reacted just like I did!!!!

I really didn't have any thoughts on it one way or the other. I just wanted to see what the members thought since it was such a hot topic in the news.

I thought Clint Eastwood's actions at the RNC were embarassing and humiliating to say the least. I felt really sorry for him. Only time will tell if his appearance there will help or hurt President Obama.

go ahead make my day

Clint Eastwood is awesome. He thinks the way I do Get Obama out.

At 74 I am guessing, but by the time you are 82 and as accepted as Clint Eastwood I doubt if you can be embarrassed or humiliated very easy. My guess is it's your problem more than it is his. If you watched the video you would see how much it helped just by listening to the crowd response.

I enjoyed him. A lot of us are asking the same questions, he just put it out to the public.
-
I loved him.I thought he did great! ;D

Well said!

Well, Clint Eastwood is awesome anyway but, yeah, he did an AWESOME job of tellin' it like it is! He was funny, and you can tell by the crowd's reaction that they loved what he was saying (as did I). When you're tellin' the truth, you don't need a teleprompter. :P

I felt he made alot of valid points, but he was very forgetful or drunk. :dontknow: ???

... or, senile?
-
So he was able to get the crowd at the RNC in a frenzy by saying a democrat did a bad job... How did he ever pull that off?
-
If he would have got the people at the DNC to cheer him with the same speech... THEN he's good.

At a guess; because the majority of his audience was as senile/disconnected from reality?

When you start talking to a empty chair I must assume that your Directing days may be getting close to over. I actually like Clint but that stunt made me think wow are you even living in this reality or TV reality. ;D LOL
-
Clint Eastwood can "make my day" anytime - even at 82.

No longer a Clint Eastwood fan. He has always seemed to be a cool actor and person but not any longer. I understood his speech. it was given the way an artist would have delivered a speech, but the crowd he was speaking to obviously could not even think on that level. I actually thought he was a much smarter man.
-
(Coming late to this party...) I like a lot of Clint's work, but the speech was a true WTH moment for me. If this was something suggested to him--not a wise decision. And if this was Clint's idea--well, it should have been reconsidered--and reconsidered after that.

I think that he was GREAT!!! He was very straightforward and right on the money!!! Everything that he said was very true!
-
I thought he was funny. My favorite part was checking out all the memes afterwards. Haha.
-
I enjoyed it. I would rather listen to him then to the politicians. They say what they think we want to hear.
-
WHO CARES?!?!?!? This whole presidential campaign sucks!!!
-
I loved him!!!! I think everything he said was "tongue in cheek" and that made it so much better than all the waffle and promises (that we know will never happen) of the political speakers.

It was a work.
